Free Premier League Champions Badge and Name and Numbers on the Kit if you order via Lovell.  Saves you about £23 on a shirt.

From what I gather LFC's deal with Nike gives them 5 days of exclusivity on pre-orders only.  And then it's available in all retailers.  I suppose with Nike rather than New Balance manufacturing them, retail availability should be much higher.

Something for people to bear in mind across the rest of the Nike deal - especially if you're getting extra stuff on the kits.

It's actually difficult to look at isn't it?

But I feel like it's a kit that will look way better in the flesh than pics.

Hmmm.....unless it’s meant to remind you of an aquarium, I’m not sure where the idea behind this one came from. I like the color, but the pattern is certainly......busy..... ..

Sounds like the ideal time to get Alexander-Arnold on the back then.

But, given the price has increased from the previous shirts, it basically balances out to what people would have paid a year ago.

£70 for a shirt is just crazy.

Not having a pop at you but I genuinely am confused by people complaining about the price.

On one hand everyone wants us to spend on transfers and build new stands and build onto our training ground, but then they also don't want the shirts to be expensive.

I mean, we either want to make a lot of money on our kit deal or we want cheap kits and gear?

I think it’s because the kits were generally around £40-50, this years kit is a significant increase in price and whilst I understand your point completely, it’s not ideal for people who perhaps struggle for money or have kits to buy for each of their kids etc.

Nike were always going to sell a lot more of our shirts than NB, especially with the likes of Lebron James helping to push it. IMO we would have still have made a sh*t tonne of money off this kit deal so it doesn’t justify the significant increase in price.

Especially when you take into account people that will want to have the home, away and the 3rd top too, that’s £210 worth of shirts for one person alone.

People with say 2 children, £50 a top, that’s £300 to get both kids all 3 tops.

With lots of people struggling or seeing a significant reduction to their income this year, if anything it could hamper the number of sales by hiking up the price.

I’m sure the owners are financially sound enough to have been able to contribute to transfer funds etc with the prices kept at what they previously were.

Kids kits should be free & the adult shirts should be £5000 a pop. If 40 year old men want to squeeze their beer guts into the top and pretend that they're Gerrard that's fine but they should then have to subsidize the kids IMO

If the shirts are gonna be so expensive, then slash the ticket prices in half. Can’t expect financially struggling working class families to get hammered on everything.
Where’s the compassion for the fans.
      Disgraceful.
And as for new stands and top players. The money they are on, half price ticket costs, would probably only support one player anyway.

If one club made a stand........

In terms of shirt prices it will probably push a lot more people into the foreign / knock off market. Some of these fakes are indistinguishable from the replicas now and cost about 1/4 of the price.

The same way that a lot of people are starting to f**k satellite packages off and watch their football on blag boxes, there's only so much you can charge before people say "this is enough". There's probably a lot more to milk from the overseas cash cow with the market still seemingly expanding but over here I think that people have reached their limit

Fair enough. To use your example then I would say to that family if you cannot afford to buy 3 tops for each of your children then don’t buy 3 tops for your children. Simple.

Well that’s pretty much my point isn’t it, affordability which is now even harder given the significant price increase.

Yeah but was hardly a good example of your point because it’s hard to feel sorry for someone who can’t get each of their kids 3 football tops each season, kind of a first world problem.

      You’re entirely missing the point.

I know when I was a kid I always wanted all the tops and it puts a certain degree of pressure on parents. If you don’t think it’s a good point then I’m really not arsed because whether you think it’s a good example or not, lots of parents are going to find themselves in that situation.

If you think the price of the tops this season are okay and the significant price increase is justified then you crack on, makes no difference to me whether you agree or not.

      My tuppence worth.

      Don't really care.
Not arsed about price, how they look, fashion, brand or anything else.

I'll buy one, just because I (nearly) always do.
Or someone will get me one as a pressie.

If you're into the whole kit thing, then fair play, good luck to you, and enjoy.
