No I completely forgot about that one, must be the bad memories of the team we had playing in it.

I meant the one by Adidas.

Need to ditch Standard Chartered they are the reason we have this Citeh/Coventry light blue rubbish splashed all over our beautiful red all of a sudden can't stand any of them, I'm not an FSG out man but they have to realise having a blue away shirt is not acceptale. It's mission creep look what happened to Cardiff, plus guarantee Citeh won't be sporting a red away shirt this year. Makes us look a bit cheap that this has been allowed to happen at all.

Wondering how many of the home kits from our PL opponents will mean we can't wear the new away for those matches.

I would prefer solid in just about any color to this design. Maybe it's just me as an old man talking, but I think it's too goofy. The third kit I can tolerate.

I think the away shirt is sh*t but it doesn't bother me the fact it's blue. The very first Liverpool shirt was blue & white back in 1892, not arsed what colour the other kits are as long as the home one is red

And City have had a red away shirt loads of times, their red & black striped away strip is pretty iconic to them & gets rehashed every few seasons

Rickie Lambert, after he scored the winner against Villa and dived into the away end with the rest of the team jumping on his back. Probably the only moment of joy that kit ever saw 😂

It looks green, deffo not blue!!

      Here's the PR bullshit anyway:

“The shirt features an all-over, torn collage design that respeats the swirling acanthus leaves from the iconic Shankly gates outside the Anfield Stadium.

The dynamic base colour is taken from the copper Liver Bird statues, symbol of the city and the club”

I saw a picture of the players wearing the away kit and doesn't look so bad, still wouldn't buy it.

Balotelli and Lambert. But in general it was a horrific team (apart from Gerrard, Hendo, Coutinho and an injured Sturridge). It was the season after the year we came 2nd and we turned to absolute sh*te.

You talking about this one I think?

The colors yes, but that design was hideous IMO.

Something like this would be real fire....(you could take the background Liverbird shadow off and it would still be awesome)

That mock up Liverpool shirt is awesome.

So we got paid a fair packet for the Nike sponsorship. The shirts are crap, and we're not spending any money on transfers due to Covid. Joy...

I understand the first ever kit was blue but it's never been since, then Standard chartered turn up and use that argument to have their colour put on our shirts, smells fishy to me. Sure Shanks wouldn't have been up us waring any shade of blue.

I'd imagine there will be some sort of agreement where we wear it a number of times no matter what the home team is wearing.

Think there would be a lot Shankly would be enraged about if he saw the state of football today mate, blue away kits would probably be the least of his worries  ;D

And I'm not sure I agree with the Standard Chartered influence. Obviously their logo is blue but having a blue away shirt makes them have to amend the colour of their logo so that it stands out on the shirt. Surely from a marketing point of view, a white shirt would make more sense as they would then be able to use their proper logo without changing the colour
