Just got my confirmation this past Thursday, I live in NJ USA, and I should receive my package on Tuesday. I believe I ordered the new shirt the day or day after they were made available for pre-order.

Finally got mine and the bro’s was a little underwhelmed with the quality of the shirt. Not an expert in garments but it had a very cheap material feel to it in comparison to the last few NB kits. That was the “stadium” version I imagine the premium quality is the elite kit at 90 quid a pop that would be a stretch for most. To get that shipped to Aus with badges and a name your looking at $280 ... robbery.

Got the same one and thinking the same thing. I compared that to a Chile jersey that was given a couple years ago and looks cheaper.

Overall it looks fine, but was hoping for something of better quality.

For as long as I can remember, there has always been two different qualities; the one that would be classed as “Pro” or whatever they want to call it that essentially matches what the players wear, and then there would be the replica that the majority of people would go and buy in a shop.

This year, the two different options seems to have become a lot more recognised than in previous years. I think the “pro” one has always been expensive but the price has been massively increased for the replica. That’s not just us, that seems to be every team and every manufacturer (aside from probably lower leagues). Though it seems that whilst the price has increased, the quality of replica’s has decreased and it seems to me that they are almost trying to push people into going out and buying the £100 tops. Essentially trying to sell the the approach of the replica being £70 but for just an extra £25-£30 you can get the exact one the players wear and get a much better quality.

Shithouses, each and every club in that regard because in a year that people are already seeing a massive impact on their own personal finances, the clubs are hiking up their own prices and the manufacturers it seems are now getting more money whilst probably spending less going by the quality of materials.

Whatever way you look at it £100 for what is essentially a T Shirt is crazy money.

Not a chance I would even consider paying that.

Will but a jacket of some description at some point, most likely when it's on sale.

Everyone in the supply chain will be hit by the same financial issues. From Nike right on down through all of their suppliers and what not. Doesn’t mean it’s ok, it just is what it is. Shortages in materials, disruptions to manufacturing, they all play a massive part of bringing a product to a store. Again, I don’t know how some people (Not you) will moan about no money for transfers then turn around and moan about the cost of our merch which in turn drives our revenue right now with not much (any) match day income.

So much for the designs being original as Engerland and Zenit St Pertersburg goalkeeper shirts have been revealed and are exactly the same as Liverpools. The quote of "Nike will be doing away with template designs" must have meant something else.
Nike are really not doing themselves any favours are they.  For me the pricing is extreme for a so called working class sport, and I'm no expert but the quality does not seem that great either. I'm sticking with my pre match shirt this season and my cracking NB league champions shirt from last season.
Very disappointed in Nike. Just sheer corporate greed and lack of design. Get the supporters to design the shirt damn it.
Ok that's me off my soapbox now.

£93 for what's basically a pair of flannel trackie bottoms, add £65 for a top to match and it's £158 for the two, taking the piss. Prepare to see loads of lids in grey strutting around town.

So do you want more money for transfers or you don’t. You can’t have cheap kit and more transfer money so choose one.

That's what I mean in terms of just because the kits cost more does not mean more people will buy it, and therefore don't generate as much money into the club. Some people have that sort of cash for the kits and love them so fair play. I however have went back to university again so I'm a broke ass student haha. I honestly believe if the kits were £20 cheaper and had a bit more quality about them, the sales would be a lot higher and therefore generate more money into the club. I may be wrong though. Just my opinion

I've bought the home top for Keegan my grandson, the top was nearly £60 plus he wanted Alexander Arnold 66 on the back plus the premier league badges and the gold world club badge on the front, put over £20 on the shirt  :o god knows how people with 2 or 3 kids manage, I do think its a complete rip off but I'd promised Keegan the new shirt before I knew how much they'd cost...I did say to him couldn't Mane or Salah be your favourite rather than Trent  :lmao: The quality is pretty good though imo.

I actually think the quality of Nike clothing has gone downhill big time in recent years. Adidas, Under Armour, even New Balance are superior quality.

Nike is just a big brand name.

Got to see the top this weekend in a shop in Orlando. Not sure what people are on about. Nice quality and really sharp looking. If it wasn’t $90 I’d have thought about having one. I also saw the teal number. Not as impressed with the style to be honest. It looks more like a training top than a game day number.

The elite version (Home) top was quality as well, but wow is it expensive. Can’t imagine they will be selling many of those as the normal version is very nice looking itself for way less money.
