Don’t like that f***in white stripe down the side of the Home kit, the 2nd kit is f***in hideous and reminds me of a lava lamp, the black 3rd effort isn’t too shabby but how many times will it be used and why a third kit when that f***in abysmal lava lamp thingy wouldn’t clash with anything else,

Why don’t Nike do a kind of ‘Ask the fans’ survey of what colours the would prefer on their alternate kits, the home should be RED and Red only, that’s our identification, we don’t want stripes down the sides or indeed piping, and we particularly don’t like being ripped to F**k off for something we don’t f***in like, or have a say in !

I really like the 3rd kit, far better than that sea green/aqua second kit.

why a third kit when that f***in abysmal lava lamp thingy wouldn’t clash with anything else,

If we were playing against another team in red inside a swimming pool then the third kit might get used.

Saw a bloke and his kid in the "teal" shirt yesterday, I was warming to in from the images, but in real life, well you can't see any of the detail from about 30yds, couldn't make out the Liverbird, the swoosh, or the SC lettering. Not good.

totally agree about the white stripe. take that away and the home strip is ok.

2nd strip is just shocking, blue, teal sea green whatever its not LFC.

3rd strip is ok, but its just a copy of croatia away top, lots of effort went into this eh nike.  :lmao:

Knowing Nike, they'd come out with a load of try-hard sentimental guff like when they released that horrific away kit the other week

"New Liverpool 'bin bag' kit, inspired by the bin bags of cash Kenn Dodd used to have underneath his floorboards & the binbags of cannabis  recovered from the raid on Curtis Warren's property. A modern twist on an old classic #YNWA"

Apparently every teal shirt has it's own design on the front. That was the sh*te Nike PR guff I read.

Yep, I read it was to save on waste materials.

Just print one big sheet of random vomit, and claim every one is unique... well they are not replicas then are they?

Southampton away is boss, I'd  love us to have that.

I read somewhere too that the teal shirt was also apparently inspired by "Liverpool's musical heritage". I think they just come out with any old sh*te & hope it sticks!

It'll stick like sh*t sticks to a blanket, and like the blanket, will be binned.

Going off some of the recent monstrosities of the last few years I'd say we're probably only about a decade away from a literal shitty blanket inspired Liverpool 3rd kit

      Based on figures for the U.K;

Home shirt is currently down on last year by 12%.
Keeper shirt is down by 30%
3rd shirt is down by a massive 57%

Surprisingly the away shirt is up by 34%.

Definitely not the best of starts with Nike. Underwhelming designs and the price hike make it understandable.

If it was more to do with that then I doubt the away kit would have had the increase it has.

Supply issues haven’t helped - been many people complaining that they have been unable to order due to stock. Also shop itself not been busy , also lack of matchday fans buying from shops etc
