      Based on figures for the U.K;

Home shirt is currently down on last year by 12%.
Keeper shirt is down by 30%
3rd shirt is down by a massive 57%

Surprisingly the away shirt is up by 34%.

Definitely not the best of starts with Nike. Underwhelming designs and the price hike make it understandable.

It's difficult to get anything at the moment.
      I'd say it's possibly a supply problem.
Let's be honest though, the Nike stuff is not as good as what NB provided last season.
Wonder how the training sales are doing...

As noted, probably a combination of Covid & folk just not liking the shirts.

I was sent that promotional press release as well a couple of days ago.  It's pure fingers in the air stuff.

Having said that, sales probably are down due to a whole myriad of factors such as stadiums closed, financial aspect to it all, probably supply and the fact its not quite as good!

Also its quite impossible to compare sales when we're in the middle of September yet some kits have been out for a couple of weeks when they'd normally be out for three months.

Basically a company is trying to drum up interest in their app, released these 'figures' as a press releases and the Echo will print anything to get a few clicks.  That's the top and bottom of it.

Struck me as odd because the 3rd kit is literally only out.
Of course it's selling less its 2 months vs 2 weeks.

I would say there is an increase in sales for the training gear due to it being, quite frankly better although still overpriced by around £20. First season for Nike though so let's see if they actually listen to the fans about design, drop the crazy price and improve material quality and I'm sure Nike will not only sell more, but make a much bigger profit.

Don’t know why people are so down on the quality of the kit, how many of you have actually seen/touched one? I saw the home kit in a store a couple weekend back. It’s absolute class. Material and fit and finish is better and the colors are spot on. Yea the price is steep, that’s for sure, but this is the first time in about 5 or 6 years I’ve considered buying a top. Probably won’t but I’m at least considering it.

Seen it a few times now in store, and the quality is absolute gash, it’s a stunner of a kit to look at and looks great in person, but the quality once you get your hands on it is less than desirable, but tbf, the last kit I actually properly had my hands on was a Warrior kit and it was majestic, so maybe it’s the new standard now.

The white stripe on the home shirt is a bit sh*t, had they changed that to a slighty different shade of red, the home shirt would of been sound, as it is that white stripe lets it down a bit.

Please just bag the away kit and use the third kit from here on.  Not crazy about the 3rd either, but it shows the difference between the poor and the god-awful.

Yea, this green kit is pretty rough on the eyes. I really like the home kit and think it looks fantastic, especially after last season's kit which was our worst in years. Just god awful.

I actually like the teal top, just not as part of the full kit.

You know what kit I really liked was that all white with red trim we had a few years back. Keep it simple and sharp. Really like this years home strip. Still considering picking that up.

First time I'd saw the shorts last night - don't understand why they're a different shade to the top. Don't think it would look so bad if it had black shorts, or at least if the shorts were the same colour as the top

Thought it didn't look too bad last night but then it was about 200 miles away plus the 4 metres to the TV.

Black shorts is a good shout. I think it would actually be pretty good looking that way. Think you hit the nail on the head...the two different shades of teal just don't work.

Mad that they went with the lighter shade of the shirt for the shorts.
Should have been black shorts all season long.

25% off all the LFC kits and gear on the Nike website for Black Friday or Black Friday week as it is nowadays.

Probably save yourselves a fair bit if you're after something in particular.
