Yepp, he is underrated. I was talking with a scum fan and he was saying that vvd gets all the fame but matip is solid defender. Made me think that we as fans tend to underrated some of our players.

Matip just keeps getting better

Not great. Wide open to the counter attack again with their 2 rapid forwards.  Lack if invention in the final third. Hopefully arsenal will come out and leave gaps to exploit

Think it’s a decent half. Every team will look vulnerable at times against Arsenal’s attack.

They’ve had some desperate defending and fancy us for another after half time.

Not by me. I think Gomez is a great asset to have, but Joel is the real deal. Most underrated defender in the EPL

Pepe looks good. He has the pace and ability. Just need someone like Jürgen to get the best out of him.

Tactics: Create chances from the wings, Battle in the middle.

Arsenal will push-up in the 2nd half with (maybe) Lacazzete introduced and it’ll be interesting how we cope. Hoping for counter attacking chances then.

Happy with that first half. Surprised Ox didn’t start but midfield looking solid enough. If we had splashed 70 odd million on Pepe he would still be on the bench. Looks a good player though

First 25 we rinsed them,  they were well under the pump but we didn't capitalise, glad we got that goal that will settle us down a bit, still not in top gear yet but when we are we'll be unstoppable,

Can't see us losing this but Pepe is a real threat ,we need to get a second and probably a third to kill it, sooner the better,

Wouldn't change anything as yet but I'd like to see the Ox on probably for Gini around the hour mark.
