      Pre-Match: Burnley v Liverpool - 31st August 2019 5:30pm
      Aug 31, 2019 10:42:50 am
      Alisson not ready to return.

Klopp said in his press conference that the reds are not going to Turf Moor for a holiday and that he is going there for hard work.  He also said that despite him and Sean Dyche having a bit of a row last time (Joe Gomez got injured for most of the season) he has great respect for the Burnley boss.

      International break after this game.

A win over Burnley this evening would see Jürgen Klopp's Liverpool set a new club record for consecutive league victories.

The Reds have won their last 12 Premier League fixtures and are one away from eclipsing the record set by Sir Kenny Dalglish's side between April and October 1990.

Three points at Turf Moor would also make Klopp's men the first ever Liverpool side to win each of their opening four fixtures in back-to-back league campaigns.

Should they win or draw, the Reds will be 21 league games undefeated, equalling their best run under Klopp.

Got tickets for this and as last year will be a tough game. Will be polar opposite  from Arsenal in that they will just launch balls so need to win the second ball. Shame Naby not fit for this played his best game in the corresponding  fixture last year. 2 or 3 -1

There are a few, although not so many now, route one sides in the Prem, but I think that Burnley represent more than any others, the closest you’ll get to Sunday league playing at the highest level.
‘Stop them at all costs attitude. Percentage game, get the ball in their box ASAP from anywhere on the field. Hit them as hard as you can.’
And that cat litter eating dick Dyche, has clearly been coached by big Sam at some stage.
Can’t devise a tactical plan, but we can kick the fuckers off the park !

I do hope we thrash these dirty bas**rds today, 4 or 5 nil would be a resounding result, as long as our lads all return injury free.
      Realistically going for 1:3
Although I’d love s clean sheet, not sure we can do it.
Not quite as confident at the back without Allison between the sticks.
6 hours or so now. Can’t wait!

We ought to win this but I'm still a bit nervous about our defence, would be amazed if we don't concede at least one. At the other end our front three are in fine form and will score goals, as long as we score more than them it's all good.

Ashley Barnes is definitely worth a punt for a goal.  Always seems to get a goal against the bigger clubs.

      1. A clean sheet
      2. 0-4 win
      3. Robertson assist
      4. Firmino double

       From an FPL perspective...  ;D

Still only August, but with Shitty likely to be top when we play, need the three points.
That's what required to beat them to top spot, we've to keep our standards so high.

Expecting a tight, difficult game with us winning 1-0.

Wonder if we might see Ox in midfield in a horses for courses move.
