So Flamengo and Liverpool are the two big guns in the tournament.

Asia Champions League today to decide the final participant.

Over two legs, Al Hilal lead Urawa Reds 1-0 going into second leg.

5 mins left in 1st half game currently 0-0, trying to find it on Bein Sports, looking through some of sports channels on firestick and found highlights of our Uefa Cup win in Dortmund against Alaves haha

      Nice position to be in!

I can't work it out from the information on the FIFA website but who would be the 'home team' in a final?  Winners from our game or winners from the Flamengo match?

Over here it's TeleMundo in Espanol and something called Fox Soccer Match Pass for English. I think that is something different than the normal Fox Sports App. Watching in Spanish is fine with me, I've done that for some Champions League games already. Only problem is the compression for the picture for those channels on my service makes it all look smaller and far away - but better than nothing.

Just reading it's FS2/fox deportes for the semi final and fox deportes for the final. Gonna have to check with my pub that they have fox deportes tomorrow.

I guess the reason for going with more exposure for the semi is that it is a Mexican club as the opposition, but actually the English-language channel should want the final as well...  ?

FS2 seems to have a lot of trash sport like Professional Bull Riding, Downhill Ice Skating, Airplane Racing, Broken Bottle Fighting, Team Broken Bottle Fighting, Cheese Hurling, South American Cheese Hurling, Yak Chasing, that kind of thing.

No room for Liverpool vs Flamengo in the Club World Cup final though.

      Not on FS1 or 2.

Agree about espanol vs. Lalas, but sometimes the Spanish-language networks have this terrible picture compression which makes everything look far away (don't know the technical jargon to explain it correctly). You are probably right about them waiting to make sure we are in it.

Maybe not sporting events, but I'd guess there a few bars around American every Saturday night that have a broken bottle fight r two (they're not broken at the beginning of the fight, mind).

I just had possibly the best weekend of my life.

Traveled from Lisbon to Lima to watch Flamengo play our first Libertadores final in 38 years. I was in pure despair for most of the match but as you can imagine those two late goals sent us all to football heaven.

If anyone wants to have an idea of what this win meant for Flamengo, have a look at the reaction of three famous former players that came through our youth ranks:

      - Juan, famous for his time at Bayer Leverkusen and Roma, a Brazil starter in two World Cups, in tears after our comeback: https://twitter.com/juanj4oficial/status/1198419772733571072

      - Julio Cesar, once the best goalkeeper in the world at Internazionale, nearly fainted after the second goal: https://twitter.com/renanmouraglobo/status/1198961701342896129

      - And this is Adriano, one of the greatest talents we've ever produced, in tears watching the game at his home: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mfr_gqZyPiY&feature=emb_logo

And then less than 24 hours later, Palmeiras (who are 2nd in the league) failed to beat Gremio and that meant we confirmed our league title with 4 games still to go, whilst we were all still celebrating the Libertadores. I was in fact inside the same stadium, with a Peruvian friend watching a local league match, when I received the news that we had also won the league.

Simply surreal, the kind of stuff that probably won't ever happen again in my lifetime and I'm just so glad I was able to enjoy it all.

Glad you enjoyed yourself in Peru, but we're coming for revenge in Qatar!

The word has gone out about THE song and I get the feeling we're gonna take this a lot more seriously than 81 ;)
