After hearing that mike riley basically ripped up VAR protocol and advised refs to take the word of some bloke in a box and not go and have a look at the screen pitchside nothing should surprise you. The rest of Europe are no doubt laughing at us about this as well. Hopefully second half the passing and interplay will be a bit crisper. Still concerned about the very high line at the back.

Refs should have to be interviewed on VAR decisions after games, one to be held accountable and for fans to understand more.

      Cheers, good stream.

Was listening on the radio there, missed the first 10 mins, but we sounded in control even when behind. Lot of corners, pressure, possession - but need the goals and good job Sadio is in unbelievable form right now.

Everyone giving out about the pull on Matip, saying should have been a peno, VAR still has a ways to go for people to be happy with it.

Pity for Origi, gets the start but goes of with an injury, hope not too serious.

Great to go in ahead, need the win today at home against these.  Table will look well if we do :)

Fabinho is awesome, doing the dirty job and defended us a few times due to Ox's mistakes. I don't see Ox lasting the whole game if he doesn't improve in the 2nd half.

Relieved normal service was resumed by the break. Mane with a boss 1st goal and the 2nd was typical Bobby showing why he’s so important to us to set Mane up.

Salah and Ox struggling so far. Salah just isn’t in the game at all, he’d love a goal today I’m sure but I really can’t see it happening. Ox has been working hard but lots of heavy touches running with the ball or a heavy first touch, his delivery has been well off too.

VAR again showing what a load of sh*t it is.

Salah tends to have quieter games when Sadio is on fire. He'll likely have more space in the second half so will have more impact. Ox I feel is still working on his match sharpness it's not quite there yet. When he's touch improves and he starts making those bursting runs from deep again he will be a big asset.

Fabinho is a monster absolute class player other than one loose pass he hasn't put a foot wrong.

Piss poor decision making by Ox there. Good throw by Adrian to set up the counter though.

He is showing glimpses here and there. I’m sure he’s just as frustrated too!

I agree, he needs game time, hopefully he’ll get it.
