It's going to be a very sad day when this front three gets split up.

Not just for us but for them as well.

Think we need someone who can come into the front 3 without weakening us too much.

Theyll always be a dip when one of those isnt fit, unless we buy a 70 million quid player and sift him on the bench. Unfortunately we are not man city.

Origi deserves his chance after last seasons performances and goals, we are weaker when he plays, but that's more to do with the quality he replaces.

Thought Shaq looked sharp when he came on.

And still Naby to come back in.

Our squad is so strong now.

I'd still like one more forward but other than that I agree we are in very good shape.

As for the game I thought we started very slowly but grew more and more into the game and it was a comfortable win in the end. Big positives were Bobby and Sadio, slight negative was the Ox who still looks very rusty but that's to be expected I guess, its good that he gets more3 and more minutes, he'll click back into gear sooner rather than later.

Anyway our perfect season continues. :-)

Even though he only played half a game, Bobby gets MotM. Clearly.

      On times he was unplayable.

Kinda agree, but in fairness, on that first challenge he received and went down, he just didn’t recover at all. So I wonder how we would of done if he didn’t get injured so early

I hope Divock is okay, but I was pleased to see Bobby come on, let's put it that way!

Shout out to referee Andre Marriner today...

F***ing sh*t he was. If he spent as much time practising his refereeing as much as he spent on his tan he'd be semi decent.

I was a fan on bringing in VAR but the fact there is still a dodgy ref in another room choosing what stands doesn’t fix anything.

And you know they are covering one another's back sides all day long.

After hearing that mike riley basically ripped up VAR protocol and advised refs to take the word of some bloke in a box and not go and have a look at the screen pitchside nothing should surprise you. The rest of Europe are no doubt laughing at us about this as well. Hopefully second half the passing and interplay will be a bit crisper. Still concerned about the very high line at the back.

In Germany the match will move for a few moments and then the ref will just blow his whistle, point to his earpiece and then point to the spot, no questions asked. It shouldn't need for the center ref to come look at something (I can see doing that for a possible red card). The Matip incident will go down as a poster child for the need to improve the system in England.

Professional and at times spectacular performance against a mediocre opponent. Team showed industry when needed, did a very job most of the time at keeping the ball and after the first 15-20 minutes were truly dangerous. Mane's first touch and finish on the equalizer were superb, Bobby's work rate and vision for the second were strong and the combination with Bobby and Mo for the third was sublime. Definitely could have scored a few more as the match went on.

Want to mention Joel Matip as well who had a number of important interventions and has really proven what Klopp was seeing in bringing him. Now that he's truly and fully fit I think  he's one of the top defenders in the world. What a center back pairing we have, and that's not forgetting that Gomez and Lovren would be the starting pair for 65-75% of the teams in the Premier League.

Let's not get carried away. His terrific play is because Virgil controls him with a remote control and nothing to do with his own ability  :lmao:

but really, Matip has been fantastic for a while now. How many better CB pairs exist in the sport better than these 2? Probably none.

How far away do you think Brewster is to taking Origi`s place,it must be close, if push came to shove Im not so sure I would give Origi the gig .

I agree but to take out the option of the ref reviewing himself is a nonsense
