Fantastic pal. Buzzing. We showed a different side to our game and came away with the points.

I can't remember too many easy wins at the Bridge, not sure what people expected after a tough, hard fought away game in Naples. Certainly 2 more than we achieved last year here, and that was only due to a worldie from Sturridge.

There will be many more games in the season for us to entertain.

We played against Chelsea at Stamford bridge, who are a really good side and we beat them.

Thought we made hard work of a game we really should have cruised through in the second half.

Good to see us come through with 3 points still at a tough away ground.

We were brutal in that second half.

Salah probably had his worst game in Red.

But 3 pts are all that matter.

I actually thought our first half performance was outstanding.

Granted, second half performance was not there but on account of our first half superiority we deserved that result.

Yeah and Chelsea stepped it up too as they are entitled to at home.

When these come to Anfield they will show far less than what we did this evening.

I know it's easy to say when you win, but hats off to Chelsea, I thought they were very good and unlucky not to get anything out of that game.

I predicted 2:0 so a bit pissed we conceded.
BUT... when we drop back, we always lose momentum and sides come on to us more and more.
That’s the final 15-20 mins of Klopp 2 seasons back.
Today we were doing ok, not brilliant but ok and 2 goals up, then the subs actually engineered what was usually our downfall.
Just can’t get my head round it !

Thought Adrian had a good game today. Got my MotM as he made a great save when I think we were 1-0 up. Could have been so much different.

Their goal was just infuriating. The good job is that it is something that can be so easily explained from our side but I was amazed that Kante just was given so much space and our players were nonchalantly jogging around him like Pro Evo had been set to easy mode. So so unlike us especially when we are top of mind when it comes to teams who will look to get in your face and press and not give you a moments rest.

It could so easily have gone to pot and in some ways it did as we never quite kept our defensive discipline in the way we had before that goal.

Before then we were superb - never have I heard so much undeserved commentary gifted towards Tammy Abraham for being caught offside so many times for us. Typical English hype - 'aawwww he's making great runs' etc etc. Well how does that explain the fact he was offside all the time. The guy got scrambled by our high line and THAT is the only story surrounding English media's 'Darling of the month' Tammy Abraham.

And in the end, he's on the losing side. Deservedly so. As we showed, we only needed the first half anyway to beat this lot.

Rivals? Nah - just another team.

Not sure why people thought the Milner sub was strange.

He's our aux left back, Azpiwotsit and Willian were doubling up on Robertson, Mane was ineffective defensively, Milner was brought on to help on that side, and get more bodies in midfield where we were being outnumbered.

Apart from that, good away win against a good side.
Scrappy, disjointed at times in the 2nd half, but I'll take it.

I thought he missed a few instruction from Klopp to track back and cover Azpi who had acres all second half and was free in laying of Kante for his solo effort. Suspect Klopp got the shits and hooked him immediately.

If we are to win the Premiership at last, these are the games we need to dig in and win! We have, maybe learnt to win dirty, it will give us more impetus to dig in and get the win, when we’re not at our best!
I’d bet City thought we’d drop points here, sorry Pep, we’re going nowhere. Early days, but 6 out of 6 and 18 points is phenomenal.

6th win out of 6 and you’re bothered by comments made about Abraham? Time to get a life.

We got the win which was the all important thing.

No doubt there is a lot to be worked though. We were the better team in the first half despite them having the odd moment and the second half we came out on top and looked like we would get a 3rd...probably would have but for another f**k up by the linesman. But then around the hour mark we just fell asleep and they were all over us; we were sloppy with the passing, we weren’t pressing and the fact we let Kante score that goal wasn’t anywhere near good enough. Take nothing away from the strike, but he should never have gotten to the position to have the strike.

Think this is the first time there was some questionable decisions from Klopp this season. Why we put Lallana on when we were under pressure I’m not sure, especially for Hendo who I thought was pretty decent. Lallana hasn’t played all season so far bar the odd minute, so putting him on in a game where we were being pushed onto the back foot didn’t make much sense.

If the game went on much longer I think they would have gotten the 2nd but as it goes, they didn’t and we are now 15 in a row, 5 clear of City again and have a good gap ahead of 3rd down.

Also, what is with us only having boss strikes scored against at the moment? Last week it was the Newcastle guy who never scores and now Kante?!
