2 in a row he scuffed when we were struggling. He then had the ball in his hands with 10 seconds left. He kicked it properly and the ref blew his whistle.

Terrible performance from start to finish, overall very poor. Shocking misses from Mane twice and then Salah in the 2nd half.

The only thing that lived up to expectation was VAR which was once again bollocks.

Said before the game would happily take a scrappy win and this was the ultimate definition of that.
To top it off, we were handed the win by a Manc.

So often our season has been defined for the wrong reasons with failing to grind out wins like this but showed resilience and came through it.

Some work to do maybe on recent performances, but great character to get the points when not at best. You don't win a title without doing that.

Shut up. Honestly some of you lot in here with your demands and expectations of perfection every match. Get yourselves on talk sport. First time all season we’ve not won by two clear goals but win we did. Fine margins in football. If Salah or Mane take their chances it probably finishes 2 or 3 nil and everyone is happy. It was a cracking hard fought win at a difficult stadium and for the 2nd game running the lads have shown the character and mentality needed to be champions. It feels like we’re in the run in already. Great to get a clean sheet. Oh and we seem to have found ourselves a cracking back-up of a goal keeper.

We won’t be the only team at the top to go there and struggle this season. They’re much like Wolves of last season, but without the goal threat of Jiminez.
