 Joe Gomez returns to Liverpool’s starting line-up for tonight’s Champions League clash with Salzburg at Anfield.

The defender replaces the injured Joel Matip in the Reds’ XI in the only change made to the team deployed at Sheffield United on Saturday.

Naby Keita is named on the substitutes’ bench against his former club.

Yeah Joel has been brilliant since he got back in. Reminds me of Hansen the way he can shift up a gear and spark an attack.It's a big plus. At one time it was looking like Gomez and VVD was the deal but Joel has taken his chance.

I don’t know about dude but he has certainly had a fantastic start to the season. Good opportunity for Gomez to show he is back to form tonight.

Pity that Haaland isn't starting. See how he does against Virgil. Leeds born and looks a very good prospect.
