I do expect us to win, but I also expected us to win in February this year and we dropped a couple of crucial points in the title race (as we then did away at Everton).

When we play Everton and now for United too, lets be honest here, all the pressure is on us.  If they get anything out of these games its a bonus for them.

Sometimes old coach's styles carry over to benifit the new coaches.
I think that might have happened early in the year.
Mourinho had United playing very compact.
When Ole arrived "and released the shackles" the defensive discipline was still there from Mourinho coaching.
It'll be interesting to see how they line up now and if they'll get their usual bounce from playing LFC,
but I doubt they'll be anywhere near as solid as they were.

On the flip side Martial is back in training apparently, he's about the only quality forward they have even though he is very hit and miss, lets hope he's a bit rusty.

Not worried about him. Wont be to the speed of the game if he does play. Bench role for him I'd suspect.

Everyone give it a good go and bring home 3 points. That's it for me.

I don't need 8-0. I don't need the entire team to score including Adrian or Alisson. Everyone just do their assigned jobs to get the three points and that will be good enough.

Of course a humiliation of the mancs would be a cheeky bonus!

And nobody ever said we must destory every team 8-0 and every player must score. If any it's just the fantasy of the individual.

The league is first about points after that GD.

Go at them full pelt, I am sure the lads will prove too much for United to handle. Almost anyone is capable of scoring, need to be positive and bag all three points, on Sunday.

Could be but even full strength we should be beating them with ease, we have to be more positive than we were last season, that was a really weird game and in my opinion is where we lost the league.

Not wishing to stem the flow of optimism on here. but.....

In the last 19 visits to Old Trafford, we've only managed to win twice; the 3-0 with the pens and 4-1.

We've scored more than 1 goal on only 3 out of the 19 occasions.

Given that our 4 away matches this season have resulted in only 1 being won by more than 1 goal, I don't think it's likely that we win by a wide margin.

But hopefully, we can repeat the margin of the only 2 previous wins in the last 19 at OT.

I’m cool with this. Well, trying to be!
I just won’t commit on these sort of games. If we play to our strengths we win hands down.
We play sh*t like we have a couple of times, and they raise their game,
Well, funny old game ain’t it 😳

Get the points in the bag, move on.
Nothing straight forward with us is there, and they are some jammy bas**rds !
Just hope everyone is fully fit and rearing to go !
