I'm a fan of Hendo but Klopp should 100% drop him next game we have better midfielders.
Yeah. I think this is an issue that has to be addressed. He can do it at home against anyone. He can do a job against opposition in any usual away match in the league but, regardless of how sh*t they are, this is still Old Trafford and it's no usual away match and I'm still far from convinced that he has the play to stamp his authority on these toxic, big away days be it in the league or the Champions League.
It's a big arena, big atmosphere, BIG match and to be honest with you it's environments like that where Hendo has been found wanting more often than not. The issue is, Hendo's usual conservative style of play only feeds into the raptutrous atmosphere that these big away matches provide. A pass back here, a pass back there - it keeps the home crowd satisfied and convinced that they are doing a job, forcing the opposition into something of a retreat. But it wasn't so much his passing, it was his positioning and scary lack of ability to fight for the ball. Whether he was scared of Atkinson's whistle (and I don't blame him given what an abhorrent display of refereeing it was) I don't know.
A draw is a good result in the context of the farcical display of refereeing and how impotent we were up front, but when you see the likes of Keita, Chamberlain and Lallana coming on and making an impact you can't help but think there were 3 points ready to be claimed from our squad today.
Like last time at Old Trafford we went too conservative in midfield and arguably fudged it today. But we got a point which is something we'd all have taken about half an hour ago.
