If we were on the ropes how come we had more shots on target then your lot? I honestly can't remember Allison having to make a single tricky save.

You know it isnt always based on possesion but the facts are Liverpool were poor in first half but shown their class in last ten mins. Just my opinion though mate

I liked Ole as a player and he is a fine man, principled gent. I mean United had Moyes,Giggs (caretaker) Van Gaal and they failed.Even the miserable one screwed up so Ole should be given at least 2/3 windows and £200m.

      Deserves a 5 year deal..at least.

Do we have enough to keep City at bay. I was surprised the Boss didn't bring in another out and out striker to supplement the squad. Front 3 plus Origi. Add Brewster and that's the squad. It relies on the front 3 staying fit. And we know that's almost imposible.

We're all in on the League for sure. That and the Champions League. I hope the Boss is looking at one or two targets for the next window. It's a bit of insurance against injuries. I obviously trust the Boss regardless of what he does in January. Think many are of the same opinion.

I honestly think a pitch side monitor fixes this mess. I'm sure the FA has considered this and ignored it, because screw it why should we be competent at our jobs ;D

I said we dominated the ball and the possession stats show that.

I didn't say anything about what it meant.

That would be you, trying to move the goalposts.

If you can find me a player with 95% pass completion, with at least 60 passes who never played it forwards once, I'd be amazed, because as stats go, that is the biggest pile of bollocks I've ever read.

I take it you never watched us play when Lucas and Allen were here?  :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Agreed, Keith, Liverpool were poor in the first half, but United were even worse. May Ole be in charge for many years.

      Quote from Harrisimo
But what actually constitutes handball by an attacking player scoring a goal.

If the following occurs when a  I will say that the new rules are open to interpretation as is so often the case in football.

When it comes to forwards handling the ball before the ball goes in the net, there is no tolerance. It's an automatic free kick, and VAR is there to ensure that a free kick is given. Only one has been allowed this season, wrongly so. At least the annual penalty appeal rejected, didn't need a review to see if the decision was correct or not.

Our performance was much of what we've come to expect down the years. Bitty, messy, scrappy, the game is played in old toilet after all. After many years of pain and disappointment, I said before the game that I would take a point, and when the scoreline is 0-1 with 10 minutes to go, I will definitely take a point, which is what we got.

The big games keep coming, but now it's at home. It's our first home league game v Spurs before Christmas since 2007. We needed a late equaliser that day also, but I won't take a point before the game this time. Normal service should be resumed.
