Genk's Cristal Arena hosts the European Champions

Starting XI: Alisson, Milner, Lovren, Van Dijk, Robertson, Fabinho, Keita, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Mane, Salah, Firmino.

Subs: Adrian, Wijnaldum, Gomez, Henderson, Lallana, Brewster, Origi.

The teamsheet is in and shows five changes for Liverpool from the side that started Sunday’s draw at Manchester United.

Mohamed Salah returns after a knock, while there are also starting berths for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita. Meanwhile, James Milner and Dejan Lovren replace Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joel Matip in defence after the pair did not travel to Belgium.

We have more than enough to beat them. I would be annoyed if we do not grab three points here with that team.

Love the lineup. I think this is a clear "prove it" opportunity for Naby & Ox.

Thats a very positive line up. Lets not assume its a win, and go out with all guns blazing. Get the three points secured, then worry about the goal tally. I believe any side in this competition is capable of shocking opposition. Lets make sure its not us who get shocked. We need to go full throttle gengen press tonight and make a statement. We intend to win this again !

Thought that’s a bit harsh on Joe , how is he going to get back in the frame with no game time 🤔

Really looking forward to that midfield.

Milner at RB I prefer over Gomez as well.

Didn't have Nabby in my line up but very attacking confident attack minded line up. Jim lad at left full back.Gomez mustn't be quite ready.

Good performance needed to get us to 6 points.

Ox likes to play between the edge of the centre circle and their box, driving forward. Hope he gets in a couple of those low drives he's so good at. Goal or two and he's back in the groove. Great op for Nabs as well.really like this lad, just hope he can get more game time because I think he has a lot to offer. Didn't have him down to start but I'm looking forward to his contribution.

This could be fun! Goals galore at both ends I would guess from the lineup.

Hopefully in the end our class pays off.

Expecting us to try and overwhelm them early doors.

A midfield 3 that I think many of us have been wanting to see for a while, hopefully they work well together.

Looking a bit ominous for Gomez this season, he’s played badly when he has played but he needs games to get back to his best. Not looking good at the moment though with Trent and Matip out but he’s still on the bench.

Salah being ready to start this game makes me question whether he could have been on the bench a few days ago. You don’t really go from being nowhere near ready for Sunday to then ready to start 3 days later. Maybe could have gotten a much needed 15/20 out of him Sunday.

Agree, but Milners the better attacker, and hopefully we won't be doing much defending.

Could quite easily make a case for that lineup being a 343, with Fabinho playing as a kind of forward sweeper.

All the "positive lineup" comments. Positive compared to the team (usually selected) that has scored 29 goals in 14 matches?  That's a lot of goals for a negative lineup. Of course they've conceded 14 goals in those same 14 matches. Must be the negativity.

Like the rest of you, I'm interested to see how Naby and Ox do tonight.

Hopefully we don’t get complacent like against Salzburg if that is the case.

Brewster on the bench.Joe the only defensive cover. Brew might get on if we're winning by a distance.
