Milner and VVD 100% looking at the Origi flag and not looking impressed. Embarrassing.

Doubt it, think that's already been confiscated by our travelling stewards. That's where the gap was between the Old Barn banner and the one of Mo celebrating his goal in Madrid.

Great result shame marred by the bumbling Lovren who really should have been moved on by now

Second half was much better than the first, Alisson had barely anything to do for large parts of it. Nicely taken goals and good play.

Midfield trio looked good, Keita and Ox so much more forward thinking than Hendo and Milner in the middle.

Shame we conceded again but as usual it comes as no surprise that Lovren was largely the reason why.

Shame Napoli grabbed a winner but ultimately, it doesn’t really matter if you finish first or second in the group because you are in for a tough opponent in the next round regardless. Still, only half way so plenty of time to grab top anyway.

Goes without saying, a much much better half that was. Real quality goals, and perhaps could have had a couple more. Conceding was disappointing, but I wouldn't read much into that as we were clearly taking it easy and were sloppy.

However, I see people are quick to blame Lovren when it was actually Fabinho at fault.

Lovren held up his man well and wasn't to know the other lad was running around him - but Fabinho stood there watching it unfold. He then failed to chase the runner, and failed to do anything at all whilst they went and scored the goal. Sure Lovren made a mistake, but if he had the support of his team mates - particularly Fabinho - nothing would have come from that.

Wrong, if Lovren does what Matip normally does and put it into touch the goal can easily be avoided. It's Lovren's fault 100% unfortunately.

Have to watch the match before I suggest a motm. Good resounding win after a couple of scary moments, and a hic up by Lovren.
Back on track, with a some top drawer goals, happy with that, and now for battering the spuds. Good night all.

Good win in the end looked disjointed for a long time. Stupid from Lovren not the best reaction from Joe or Virgil either. Will do these at home again and I expect the other two teams to sort themselves out in the return game in Naples.

Much better second half. More control, movement and better passing. Keita second half was excellent. Chuffed for ox. Shame about the goal we conceded but a home win should see us in a good place.

Not wrong. Lovren was trying to see the ball out under his control but it became 2 vs 1. I've seen Matip make enough mistakes. He's not godlike.

Fabinho did nothing despite it becoming his responsibility even before Lovren has fallen.

Christ. We've just had the Evra-Suarez thing dragged up again this week. Now we've got morons in the crowd putting up sh*t like this.

Anyway, F**k them, good result tonight. Good to see Ox getting going, Robbo coming off early. Hendo n Gini getting a rest. Even Lovren messing up may be a blessing in disguise. Hopefully Joe will start at the weekend (if no Matip), given Lovren's history against Spurs.

Have to take slight issue with this "disjointed" tag. They were so deep in the first half it was hard to create any openings. We may be didn't cut out the long ball quick enough but with us high on the front foot the ball over the top is always on. Controlled the game well enough and our quality came thru in the end.

The ball was no where near running out of play, in fact it only ended up as close as it did to going out for a throw because Lovren clipped the ball with his foot when he was trying to hold off the Genk player. He had zero awareness and don’t think he had any idea what to do because that ball certainly wasn’t running out of play.

Not that he didn't blunder - just to be clear - he did. But if you watch Fabinho, it was really poor by him.

Thought Genk were a decent side.  Heads went down with the second goal and maybe that's what happened to them in the first group game.

They've got technical ability but maybe not the mental strength for the game.  Good 3 points.  We've had a pretty horrible away record in this competition so 4-1's more than good enough for me.  Real chance to tidy up this group in our next game now.

Pleased for Oxlade-Chamberlain.  Some nice touches at times from him and Keita.  Firmino was heavily off the boil until the last quarter of that game.  Hopefully he's back in the groove now - going to need him to be for the weekend.

You blame Fab but not a word about Gomez who literally stops and watches after strolling back.
Fab is going back to try and fill the void left by Lovren.

I thought Firmino was good you know. Some of his flicks and touches today were sublime, just the chances he created weren't being put away.

Thought it was positive signs hes getting back to his better displays.

Just goes to show how differently we view games , Ferdinand and Crouch saying he was brilliant tonight , made the goal for Ox , played a sublime no look pass for Salahs goal , the pass he played first half to Salah should have resulted in a goal , makes the ridiculous look simple.
