They must really hate us by now Spurs ;D

Good, not too fond of them to be honest.

I think people sometimes forget how spoiled we are having the opportunity to watch this team.

It's a strong, tough league. We're not going to waltz over every single team. Spurs are a decent team that finished top four for five (or six?) consecutive seasons and made it to the CL final last year too.

We're going to make mistakes, sometimes we'll be unlucky, no need to instantly jump on players' back two minutes into a game.

We've got genuine world-class players all over the pitch.

It was a cracking game and the pace we got going during that game was mightily impressive.

Fabinho my man of the match too, what a performance. Henderson did great too.

Most satisfying win of the season that for me.

Phenomenally sharp response to that early goal.

A fine example of this team's (looks at the Brendan Rodgersthesarus)...'mental fortitude'.

      What a game.

Fabinho, Trent, Robertson and Mane, absolutely immense, performances worthy of champions.

      Get in you reds.

Feels like a really huge win that. First time this season when City have closed the gap on us before KO, a tough fixture, a horrible start, a Spurs team battling and making it frustrating for us before throwing everything they had at us for the last 15. Momentous win.

Only dampened by my belief I’d taken a perfect score for the prediction league only to find out I had gone 3-1 :D

Probably been said a few times already but Fabinho was absolutely world class today. I mean, what a performance.

Brilliant game of football from the reds today.

Way too sensible and logical for a match thread!

There a few who won’t stand for that!

huge win. always tough against them. if i were a spurs fan id be fuming, where the f**k has that commitment been from them? they lost 3-0 at f**king brighton!

some periods in that game when we had them boxed in were the best weve played this season.

fabinho sensational. trent outrageous going forward, but some worrying moments defensively.

said it a million times, dont care how well lovren played against leicester, im sick of watching him play, he f**king terrifies me.

I agree! He has played well in the past, but now when I see his name on the team sheet I have an involuntary shudder inside!

I thought Henderson recovered brilliantly after his early mistake. Was all pace and power and a driving force thereafter

Not for me that midfield is not strong enough, Henderson gives the ball away and then watch Gini the pair are woefull

Massive win when put into context of keeping City at 6 points. F***ing mentality giants alright every single one of them. Shows how far we’ve come when a top 6 side is reduced to yard dog championship tactics to try and get a result against us 2 weeks running.

Fabinho what a performance best DM in the league.

      On another note...

Harry Kane really is the biggest cheat in football. Truly pathetic behaviour today from him, none of which will be picked up after all because he's England's rose.

No doubt he'd swear on his daughters life that he ain't a cheat though.

It’s about balance though isn’t it. If Klopp swaps in one of Keita or Ox for one of those lads then fans will stop expecting Hendo/Gini to play like Iniesta. Why so many experts t then to play like that and then complain when they don’t is beyond me.

Yes mate. The way he went down clutching his face. Imagine that was Salah and the outcry that would be received. With Kane, not a peep.

Love how we beat them. I think we mentally destroyed them in Madrid and today they had to revert to shithouse football and we showed we can deal with that too.
