If you think you'll stop us by packing your box for 85 mins. We will run you ragged and grind you down, wear you out and destroy your will to live. It's more painful for you that way. HA HA HA HA. We will not lay down, we will not be defeated by anti football.

I haven't watched this as I am at my dad's side in Arrowe Park Hospital. He's dying here, literally, and know what? This game, we had to win, for him. I would've hated for the last Liverpool game of his life to have ended in defeat.

Sorry to be depressing but f**king hell, it's got me emotional, that.

All the best mate. You got me crying my eyes out here and I don't know you or him, but I've been where you are. YES. BEST reason of all for us winning that one.

Tell your Dad from all of us here that he Will Never Walk Alone!

He could have chalked off our goal with VAR. What happened? Fell asleep in the war room?

Thought the substitutions turned that game on the head.  Van Dijk stopping them going 2-0 up as well - great interception.

Starting midfield today was piss poor.  Fabinho and Ox should be in the starting XI for the Man City game.  And I'd be tempted to start with Origi instead of Salah because Mo just doesn't look right.

Brilliant win that but f**k me, that was far too close for comfort.

Definitely need to leave Mo out midweek, it not longer.

Salah looks really slow. There was one scene when a defender :o was outrunning him. Is he OK healthwise or already over his peak?

Good win although we ride on luck the last couple of weeks. Next week vs. City pivotal game. We win and we got halfway thru, we lose and it's wide open again.

Mané was undoubtedly the match winner - that beautiful cross with his left to Robertson, then the all important header to put us ahead. But I voted TAA because I'm awe of the best right back in the world. His decision making is flawless, his technical ability is second to none. He always knows what to do, a low pass to the middle, a cross to the 2nd post, pass it back short, take on a defender, etc. It's just amazing how consistently smart he is being that young! Quite possibly the most influential player on his position in all of world football right now.

Me too, Trent was excellent today and kept the team ticking over. Mane won us the game but my God did he leave it late, the forwards and midfield were pretty bad today but who the F**k cares right now, we won, woohoo!!!

Went with Mane out of pure emotion but no argument here that Trent was our best player for 90+ minutes.
