I would play Trent instead of Salah and Gomez right back against Man City if Salah is doubtful or not 100%.

Mate, the whole thing is a clown show
& its no coincidence that both moss & Atkinson had a hand in both the UTD game and this game.

Should’ve just shamelessly chalk off our goal and make us lose. Top it off with that Tyler commentary. Three shameless tw*ts.

It was one of the hairs under his armpit that was off according to Atkinson.

Makes victory even sweeter. We not only beat Villa. We beat VAR and Atkinson altogether.

I like Jon Moss as a bloke. Not a fan of his officiating, but I'm led to believe it was the VAR officiating that was poor.

I haven't watched this as I am at my dad's side in Arrowe Park Hospital. He's dying here, literally, and know what? This game, we had to win, for him. I would've hated for the last Liverpool game of his life to have ended in defeat.

Sorry to be depressing but f**king hell, it's got me emotional, that.

      Get the f**k in.

Awful time, went through it my Dad, all you can do is be there as much as you can to be with him. Thoughts are with you mate.
So pleased the lads went and dug out the win for him.

Was listening to bits of the match on the radio, at 1 down didn't sound like we were putting them under huge pressure toward the end, maybe we were, am not sure. And though was delighted when Robbo scored, it straight away was 'have we time left for the win' - that's how much pressure Citeh put teams under, draws aren't enough. Went a bit crazy jumping around when Mane got the winner from the corner [though Trent had a free just before that that didn't hit the target - so it was low, to high, in seconds :)]
Sounded like Salah wasn't great, of the front 3 got subbed off first again - but he'll bounce back.
Soooo F***ing pleased, pig in sh*t time - snatching the win from the jaws of defeat - again :)

Again, VAR isn't the problem. It's the ones operating it that are. Still can't get over what a pathetic little twerp Martin Atkinson is for disallowing that goal and us winning in added time does not take away from the sheer farce of this particular incident.

Even on the replays where you basically see him making up lines for himself on the video. Like a f**king monkey operating the technology.

It's absolutely diabolical from this sad, strange little man.

He looked slowish, was outrun by a defender. That got my attention, but now I learned he might not be 100% from his ankle injury which could explain everything. So I guess it's alright.

Salah shouldn't be picked untill he's 100% fit. I suppose in reality very few in the pro game are 100% week in week out....but you know what I mean.

Trent on the wing or right side midfield. Genk first so the Boss can try a few things.

Thought Hendo got rinsed by a few too many AV players today, something that I haven’t noticed before, but I’ll never ever question his heart and desire, he really tries to do his best.

      Never in doubt.

Made heavy work of it though, against a very well organised side that defended pretty well.

Best player was TAA, but I gave MOTM to Mane, for his assist and goal.
He didn't have any space to work in up top, but did well when he dropped into midfield, and as usual his defensive work was good.

      We go again.

Ha. We’ve grabbed that many late winners over the last year that it’s gotten to the point where there’s about 20 seconds left and it’s still not in doubt.

How times have changed from 4 years ago.

Well to be fair to you there's never been a player at Liverpool who is above criticism but you must've known Salah wasn't 100% fit ...but he didn't cry off, put his body on the line for the cause. We should all weigh up all the info before we lay into players. Hendo got more stick again today but not many stood up to defend him unfortunately.

That's the amazing thing about Mane. He was not having a good game for much of it. First half - gave away the free kick that led to our goal, was over hitting passes for Bobby and Salah. But even when he isn't having a great time of it he can always pop up with a stunner/assist/winner. He is sensational!

That's why I've been saying for years he's possibly our most important player. Even at the worst of times, he never hides from responsibility, keeps going for the ball and trying to make things happen. He's changed so many games even when far from his best, it's unreal. Doesn't always pay off, but most of the time it does and it's sensational!  When Barça signed Coutinho, I told a Brazilian friend who's a journalist that Barcelona had signed the wrong player, that if they wanted a top class player for their left side they should have gone for Mané. He laughed it off at the time, said I was a fanatical. He pretends he doesn't remember me saying this now!

How that red vertical line which is Bobby's right shoulder, is drawn in reference to Bobby's left leg to prove he was offside is still beyond me.
