The TAA hand ball could've gone against us but it's good that VAR don't give those. Pep should've realised City just weren't as decisive as us when it countered.

That was very very satisfying, we weren’t even at our best, but still they couldn’t beat us. City have so many utterly despicable players, the biggest are Sterling and Fernandinho! As for their manager, any last vestiges of respect I had for him have now gone.

There hasn't been a time when City have come to Anfield under Basil Fawlty and not done that waves and waves of attack. Fact is they bottled it big time up front and at the back today. In terms of chances, both sides were more or less equal. We were just more clinical and clever.

Compare that display up against last year's awful home match (where we played really conservatively and really poorly) and it's fabulous!

No penalty, absolutely clinical up front, Wijnaldum my MOTM.
