      Quote from waltonl4
Wolves denied a perfectly good goal for hand ball even though it was ball to hand and the REF was happy but not VAR.

It wasn't a perfectly good goal, otherwise it would have stood. Don't take that as saying I like the decision in this case because I don't. But that's the law, therefore the goal should be disallowed, so Wolves could win according to the laws of the game. Obviously they couldn't, but that's a different discussion.

"Incidentally he's only lost a couple of balls in almost 40 years."

My personal experience is that is the maximum. Perhaps Fred is different....

Anybody watching today? I was going to check out Ovie Ejaria for REading but he's not in the team, same as last round. Watching a German match instead.

I might try Herbie Kane with Hull City in the next match, they play Chelsea.

I had a look at the millwall game, then coventry then Portsmouth least there were goals in that one.Gonna go with west ham v west brom for the second half, see how aggro it gets if the score holds up.

Clear handball by Tanganga and then Sanchez but VAR hasn’t even looked at it.

Looks  like City are cruising, up 2-0 at half to Fulham, who had American Tim Ream sent off in the opening minutues.

Personal  Note: In my soccer journo days I covered the American youth championships one year and Tim Ream was one of the main players for a championship team from St. Louis. Now he's probably getting close to retiring - getting old here...

If this was professional wrestling, Liverpool would run out of the tunnel for the 2nd half to defend their smaller friends, winning in a 6-5 fightback.

This’ll make them cocky now and they’ll go back to the premier league thinking their the dogs bollocks, get schooled, demoralised and be worse off than before..... hopefully  :f_tongueincheek:

If I could be bothered I’d look back over the last couple of years and see how many half decent teams they’ve played in the 2 domestic cups. I’d be shocked if it’s more than 3.
