The beginning of a very hectic schedule at a tough away ground. You get 3 points for beating City and you get the same for beating Palace so lets keep the momentum going. 0-2 Reds!!  :kop5cf8koxp6: :kop5cf8koxp6:

A tricky fixture for us but Palace are not the same team this year as last so we should win this.

Good side PG, I'd prefer to see the Ox instead of Jimmy M tho, despite the Eagles blood and thunder start we will settle down and take the game to them, they will be pre-occupied dealing with our attack whilst our defence will soak up their inevitable balls over the top futility,
Might see Salah given a extended break to mend his dodgy ankle,  Divock coming in as his replacement.

Feel like Palace didn't start too badly but they don't seem to be as good as they were last year.

Made a mistake of putting Zaha in my fantasy league team and he's done nowt.

So he's definitely nailed on to get his first goal of the season!

Not expecting us to drop points here.  Would be a disappointing result after our last game if we were to do so - especially with Chelsea playing City elsewhere.  We should be ending this weekend with a double digit points lead over at least one of those sides.

Thinking of a 2  1 win for the Reds, away at Crystal Palace. The most important thing collecting all three points !

I expect Robbo, Hendo and Salah to be kept out for injury/rotation purposes. Hopefull all three return to the side for the following match vs. Napoli.

      NB: Team no longer available

Subs would be Adrian, Gomez, Robertson, Lallana, Keita, Henderson, Salah.

Last season against these the 4-3 was a bit mental. Wherever possible, I hope we go full strength. Funny old team Palace, they usually threaten to spring a surprise.

I went to home and away last year.

At Palace was tough with a penalty then Mane scores late as they chased the game.

The home game was 4-3 and was mental but I still always felt we had a few gears to go each time we went down.

Both great games to see live to be fair

Not even going to try and second guess the team with the niggles we have and whether likes of Matip back. What I will say is that Fabinho may need to pick a booking up here and miss Brighton rather than the derby

It would be the old Liverpool thing to beat City then drop points to Palace but I think we are finally in a new era. I think we will win a tough one. 2-1

I hate playing palace. one of those sides who play sh*te for 10 games, then look like potential prem winners when they play us. Not sure if its a case of us mentally thinking its gonna be a stroll, and then only play to 75 % of our potential or what.
Need to get into them from the start, whatever their tactics thats for sure. No complacency from anyone and well do these 0 - 3.

About time we had a convincing win against em eh ! Let it be this time. We surely don't want to rest to many, they are bound to come out at 100 mph. Woy knows his best chance is to catch us cold early, then defend for their lives. Keep it sharp boys, keep it keen, don't let the bas**rds get a foot hold.

Can't remember the last comfortable win over these and I can't see that changing on Saturday. They always seem to play well against us so we'll have to be on it to get all three points.

Any win against Woy's boys will be a decent result, away at Palace.

Beside the big 6 it seems to be Palace & Burnely away which I worry about more than the rest. Whether there's a genuine reason for that I dunno (Crystanbul flashbacks maybe) but they're two fixtures that I'm never really comfortable with. Would always bite your hand off for a scrappy win before either

City & Chelsea straight after too, so I'm already warming to the idea of being able to settle down on the couch Saturday evening and enjoy that - safe in the knowledge that we will still be 8/9 points clear at the top regardless of the outcome! Please don't ruin my weekend, reds!

You'd best avoid looking at the polls as well then ;-)

In all seriousness I think we will this game quite comfortably, Palace are not playing that well at the moment and I think the win against Citeh will have given our lads so much confidence.

10/11 points would suit me after those two draw 1-1.

Would prefer a Chelsea win as I'm still pretty certain that City are our strongest competitor, but a draw would be a fantastic result & I'd definitely take it if it were offered beforehand

Even a City win is sound (providing we also win, of course) We'll still have a nine point difference but they'll have one less game to claw it back... So we'd be in a better position than we were at the start of the day. Just got to keep doing what we're doing!

Wouldn't mind a comfortable win for once, Palace are a weird side who do throw up the odd shock result though in their last two home games they lost to Citeh and Leicester 2-0 to which i expect our boys to do the same. Interesting to see if we will have Robbo or Mo for this match though having Milner and Origi come in to replace them I still think we can get the job done. I just always worry because we tend to play poorly the first game after the international break.
