Since we're playing Palace a thought came into my old bonce,
Now it's well known now that a certain Wilf Saha is seeking pastures new , and since we're a major injury away from losing a third of our fantastic front line, Salah with a niggle at the moment,  I think adding Wilf to our bench wouldn't be a bad idea,
Yes Divock has been brilliant for us but a Wilf Saha would offer us more in my opinion, so I'm chucking it out there, would signing Wilf Saha be a bit of a coup, or a bit of a damp squib?

      Your thoughts Ladies please ?

Can’t see what fuss is about with saha. He looks good and threatening on the ball, but rarely delivers.
Why on Earth is he still at palace if he’s rated by top sides ?
He tried to force a move last window, but there were no serious offers 😁

Feel like Salah has been running with minor issues ever since that Madrid final to be honest.  Lack of a summer off isn't helping him either.  It's a potential blow as we approach the busy period of games.  Fingers crossed.

And now the Echo's gossip sh*te on their website claiming Egypt want Salah to play for them at the Olympic Games.

Looked like Salah, Robertson and Van Dijk all in training today. Good to have the options there but not opposed to having the former 2 sitting on the bench for this one.

The good news is it’s not a FIFA recognised tournament so we don’t have to release him. Though whether Mo gets peed off with us if we don’t is another matter.

palace are not the same team, but still a tricky game.  I think the score line of 1-4 will flatter us, but who cares.

Not one of the games I’ve been most looking forward too, got away with it by the skin of our teeth last season when we done a fine job of making it as difficult as we could. Doesn’t feel like we’ve had a convincing win against them for a while. Saying that, as long as we get the 3 points I’d still be able to sleep at night with another scrappy 4-3 win.

Yeah, but if you’re serious you persue it, you don’t back off at the first refusal. But wouldn’t expect anything other from the Bitters, so they can appease  their fans by showing ‘we tried’.
As said, he flopped at Utd. When he was expected to give them something extra.

I went to home and away last year.

At Palace was tough with a penalty then Mane scores late as they chased the game.

The home game was 4-3 and was mental but I still always felt we had a few gears to go each time we went down.

Both great games to see live to be fair

Is right, but we did not get into third gear somehow

Cos he flounced back there after flopping at Utd under Moyes!!

I think most player's flounced under Moyes did they not ?

Zaha went there too early,  typical young player full of potential but not quite making the grade, the Zaha then is different to the Zaha now, matured a lot, more experienced etc,

I look at him the same way I looked at Shaqiri,  thought he wouldn't be good enough in a Red shirt,  Shaqiri proved me wrong,
I think Klopp could get more out of Wilf than any other manager has, he's got pace to burn, can link up well,  has goals in him and I think he could thrive in a Klopp set up, he'd be a great asset off the bench if say you wanted to rest Mane or Salah,
Probably won't happen, and he'd probably cost too much for a bench filler, but never say never in football.

Apart from the yard dog that is Felliani.

Maybe I just don't buy the hype over Zaha and tbh I'd rather go for someone like Sancho, who to me looks a more all round player.

Palace could be tricky away, a win with a clean sheet would be great. Although the main priority, is another 3 points in the title race.
