One of our biggest problems is if the front three don't score, the midfield won't step up

But they did and we won,so no offence but....

30 Goals this season by the following players.

      Mane
      Firmino
      Salah
      Origi

      Robbo
      Matip
      VVD
      TAA

      Wijnaldum
      Hendo
      Fabinho
      Milner
      Lallana

Who else needs to step up and contribute?

Typical game at Palace. A scrappy, awful to watch, long hard slog. Every away game this season has been a long hard slog. We've got there in the end, but we usually have to wait a while to click into gear and deliver the goods. So a bit more patience would help. We have to face Brighton, Bournemouth, and Watford in 3 of the next 4 games, which hopefully will give us some target practice.

Back to this game, VAR came to our rescue when they tried to cheat their way to go ahead, showing once again what it's there for, and why we need it. The foul actually looks worse in real time than slo-mo, when it's usually the other way around. Last year the plot would have worked, we would have dropped two points, and there would be a 1k post  inquest here. This year, it failed, so we're another three points nearer the title and we can relax. As for the anti-VARhead in the Sky Studio, he sounds like someone who bet on them scoring the first goal to collect his half time winnings, only for the Big Brother VAR to go and tear it up.

Our own goals reflected the quality of the game, but we have our 37 Points, so I guess it's now fairly safe to sing "We Are Staying Up". Now 3 home games await, and more chances to rack up the wins and build our lead further, as we aim for 49 points before we head for Doha.
