Awful awful results. A win and you basically give yourself a game off in a busy time period and advance to KO stage. And we play Gomez? And at RB? Adding in that Fab is hurt and it was as close to a loss as you could get without actually losing.

That was as flat as I've seen us in a long time, although I heard the Palace game was pretty hard going as well.

The upshot is no rest against Salzburg in a period where a rest would have been gold dust.

Or perhaps Klopp could prioritise games a bit better and stop pairing up Hendo and Milner, that team selection was amateur. This result is 100% on Klopp.

3 decent to good CBs, hard working midfield and a bit of pace up front and an acceptance that they may have to defend all game added with european referees who play into these sides hands with constant breaking up of play.

We never do it the easy way! And I can't remember too many Champions League group stages over the years where we haven't left it till the last game to secure it. Was a bit disappointed with the starting line up tonight, was quite negative and lacking in invention. I actually get why Trent gets a rest because he's played a lot of football but if we'd got the job done he could have rested up next Tuesday along with the rest of the starters. Really not sure who to give the motm, no one really stood out.

Could've gone on to win it as we were going well when we scored but just couldn't get a grip after our goal.Hendo for me saw plenty of the ball and as Mo had come inside with Bobby, Hendo could've threaded a few thru the middle but he either played it wide or knocked it back.

Dreadful first half, much better in the second but didn't create enough chances.If you have 2 flair layers in Bobby & Mo you have to bring them into it quickly, play them in, can't do stuff if they don't get the ammo.

Since we're incapable of it, I do hope some team absolutely smash Napoli pretty soon. Can't stand them.
