Not easy against a well organised team with zero interest in attacking. We looked fairly clueless as to how to break them down tho. Constant crosses driving me mad.

Do you fancy us to beat Salzburg, you know the team that actually knows how to win games comfortably in Europe?
I think when it comes to the crunch, we have proven we can get a result when needed.

Think we’ll have to play a whole heap better!

They need the win and will have to attack - so we'll have space to play and won't be up against a bus.
They're decent side and we'll need to be tight, and more clinical up front.
But we're top of the group and should go there and do a professional job - think we'll be OK.

Disappointed, but not surprised, that we didn't make this month a little bit easier for ourselves.

Our away record in Europe over the last year is not brilliant, even against sh*t teams.

      Bit pissed off really.

As comfortably as, you know, the Champions League holders?

Front three were off it tonight but Napoli were excellent at the back and defended in numbers which made it very difficult.

Bet you didn't say that after big ears no.6

It was poor team selection though wasn't it. Winning a 6th has nothing to do with it

Once again Robbo has a brain fart at the end of a match. Stupid foul to give away with so little time to play. Much as I love him, I thought Mo had a mare of a game tonight.

      Again ?

Wouldn't be the Liverpool way without having to go into the last match day needing a result. We rarely navigate a group stage so easily and would of been great boost to rest the guys and get minutes for squad players in the last game but it is what it is.

What are you talking about? Salzburg below us in the table and are not champions of Europe.

      Maybe Salah just isn’t fit?

Doesn't quite look himself really at the moment. Thought would start from the bench.
In saying that, don't think any of the front three made much of an impact tonight.

You thought we played well in the final??

A performance in a final is determined on if you win it or not surely.

It's tough but hardly a disaster.

In terms of having to play full strength for another game is a busy December it is a disaster, we've already lost Fabinho possibly. Plus I am not at all confident of beating Salzburg with our current team, we are really not playing well recently, despite results.

Hes a Scot. He gets pissed off a little easier than most. It's not a terrible trait but if things arent going well and the opposition are pissing him off, he can hit out. His usual trick is the little push off the pitch and into the hoardings.

He cares, I like it. As long as it doesnt go into red card stuff it's all good.

Where the fook have you been the last three years? In that time we’ve beaten Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Roma, Dortmund, City and Spurs. We’ve been three goals down dead and buried and won (twice!) We’ve won tight group games with late goals and dramatic saves, we’ve played badly and got through, played brilliantly and got through AND we’ve been to three European finals in fours years with Klopp.

It’s not ideal to have to win the last game but for fucks sake it’s Salzburg.   To answer the question yes I fookin do fancy us to beat em. And so should you fella.

We dont have to beat them. Just avoid a 2 goal loss.

Can’t believe I’m reading people worried about the Salzburg game. Of course we could lose, we could lose any game ffs! Think how open this game will be tho! So long as we aren’t complacent we should be fine.

It's not a disaster but judging by your negative outlook I know it's almost like the end of the world in your eyes.

Not ideal, a poor performance but not a disaster.

Any loss puts us out dude assuming that Napoli don’t lose to Genk
