If we dont win this convincingly then I really will start to get worried, I think we'll bounce back in this game after the frustration midweek.

People may think, ahh it’s only Brighton. Well they’ve had some decent performances even though they’re not very consistent.
We need to be careful we don’t underestimate anyone, and I don’t think lallana is the answer as the defensive mid.
Not s Hendo lover by any stretch of the imagination, but I think he’d do a far better job there, even though it loses a bit of guile going forward.
If he sits, the others in the middle can supply that.
Our defence hasn’t been top drawer of late, even with Fab in there. Lallana will considerably weaken that position.
Not having a blast at Adam, he has his qualities, I just don’t think defensive mid is one of them.
Otherwise Glynn, I think your spot on !
Only my opinion of course 😁

Brighton will not be a push over, especially with Fab out till new year.

Gutted Fab being out until the new year at the earliest, we're gonna miss him for sure,
I'd be inclined to stick Henderson in there , he can cover the ground better than say Lallana can tackle better too, it would also be good news for the Ox ,I'd sit him in the middle with Gini giving us more creactivity,
The real kick in the salty sphericals is losing Fab at the busiest times, and unless JĂźrgen goes to Boston with the begging bowl I think we'll just have cope as best we can, anyhoo...I'd play this against BAHA on Saturday...

      .....                     Alisson
                 Trent Lovren Van Dijk Robbo
                               Henderson

Someone is due a severe battering, I think Brighton will suffer,

Grim news on the Fabio front. I'd put Hendo back as holding. I also think the Boss should play Joe Gomez alongside VVD for this game.Lovren has done well but just as a confidence thing for Joe. Don't think Brighton will stretch us that much that we can't take this risk.TAA back in.

Extended run for Alex with Shaqiri and Lallana on standby.

I agree with this, Joe and Virgil were so good together last year, I'd love to see them reform that partnership in the middle of defence.

Hendo as first choice DM until Fabinho returns and we should be fine, it will also allow us to play Keita, Shaq, Ox and Lallana a bit more, could actually be a good thing as we've been quite stale in midfield the last month.

Hope for a demonstrative win if only to quiet things on here.

I expect 4-5 changes. Trent and Gini will be back of course. With Napoli last Wednesday and Everton this, I expect a couple others to be rotated. Wouldn't be surprised if Robbo sits this out as well as maybe Henderson and at least one of the front three. So how about:

      Alisson
      Trent, Lovren, Virgil, Milner
      Gini, Keita, Ox
      Salah, Bobby, Origi

None of this is to suggest Brighton are an easy mark. They are not. We just need to keep rotating 2-4 at a time, especially w Fabinho now out.

Confident as we should be. City have a tricky away game at Newcastle.Expect them to win but it's not a given by any means. Geordies had a few good results - beat United and won away at West Ham so we might put a bit of distance between us and Pep the moaner.

Hope the Boss is linning up a quality back striker in the window. Think we need a bit more goal threat on the bench.Loan out Brewster.

      Team picks itself almost imho.
Really disappointing to loose Fab coming into a run of matches.
Hope we don't loose too many more cause the drop to the squad lads is steep enough in places.
Wonder would JĂźrgen rest one of the front lads - if going to, surely a match at home is the time to do it.
Crowd behind us, lets go get the 3 points!

After feeding off scraps on Wednesday, our front three will be starving ;D
Give them the right service, either from midfield or whipped in from the wings and I predict a riot !
Shake it up a bit in midfield and play Chamberlain and Keita ?

Decent corner taking and free kicks today please boys, coz they were sh*te on Wednesday >:(

      3-0 , possibly 5-0 riot

Im still not sure if we were crap o Wednesday because Napoli out thought us, or if we were just crap under our own steam.
One things for sure, we gotta be a lot better today. 3 - 0 for me, if we turn up on song.

My concern is if fans at Anfield are approaching with a negative outlook, like some on here seem to be.

SO much to be positive about. Today is an opportunity for three points and a chance for a new player or two to make an impact toward our title-winning campaign. (I won't say a chance to extend our lead because despite it being level at the break, I don't expect anything for Newcastle in this game on now).

Klopp says the following in the matchday programme and I think he recognizes the potential for a flat atmosphere (and of course he knows well what a big difference a positive, engaged crowd can make):

"We have to play our part, but I think if there was a game where energy from the Anfield crowd would be good, I'd identify this one."

Went to my best mates funeral yesterday a massive Red for over 50 years. It makes today and all days watching the REDS SPECIAL.
The lads struggled to break down the 11 man wall on Weds but today they will refocus and do what they do best steam roller Brighton and win handsomely . I am not sure why their would be an ounce of negativity as today we will play beautiful attacking football we haven't seen for nearly 30 years teams come to Anfield to keep the score down nothing more. 4-0 for me today Mo hattrick and Sadio getting another header
