Salah and Keita the standouts for me. Really really encouraging to see these players (Keita, Origi, Shaqiri etc) on the fringes come in and put in these performances.

Never really had to get out of 3rd gear, was almost frustrating just seeing us knocking it about the back for the last 20 or so minutes and not going for the throat but at the same time good to kill the game off. I think the lack of clean sheets was playing on our minds and good to get that off our backs. Gives our doubters one less thing to spout about.

Salah was like a different player today, full of confidence and some of his touches were superb. Nice goal and assist which will boost his confidence at a very important time in our season.

Oh and can I just add another perfect in the prediction league. Time to sit back and watch the Manc derby with a beer or 12.

Hendo was really good in possession, Keita with a goal and assist just pips him to MoTM for me.

Bobby was a little quiet but overall a solid display from everyone.

Credit to Gomez for effortlessly slotting into CB too. If Lovren is injured along with Fab and Matip then we have got a problem there with this schedule ahead of us.

Not sure at present who else can go there without turning to Sep who isn't ready. I've called for it before but I wonder whether we will enter the market for a cheap solution in there as we have had in the past with Klavan, Kolo and Sotis.

Like I said before we tend to play well vs Bournemouth and with their recent form this was the recipe for thrashing though in the end it was pretty much a stroll in the park, percent type of game to have within this busy period. Nice to see a clean sheet, Mo get a goal away from and Ketia had good showing. Despite scoring a goal I am still not a fan of Ox out wide as he just doesn't influence the game much from that position. Hendo I thought was great and MOTM, guess he can pick out a pass going forward.

Only bad thing to happen was Lovren to pick up a knock and hope it isn't too serious because once again going into Christmas we are little thin in CB position.

Though Joe did well at RB to be fair before slotting in at CB Bern given a lot of stick unjustly in my opinion and up to him now to grab that CB slot and make it is own

fantastic result a clean sheet not that I thought we were desperate for one. Rested players a nice cameo by jones.   And Naby looked good.   I think another fantastic performance from Klopp chose the right team and resting What? 13 players in 2 games.

Clean sheet, Keita doing good stuff, Salah back to his old...life is good. #19 is coming along, not yet there of course, but it looks very promising and we have depth to overcome several injuries, in fact I'd rank Origi over Firmino and Shaq oder Salah right now, as well as Ox/Keita over Gini.

This proven depth also should close out any winter or summer signings. I mean: why? And remember: we have the likes of Wilson or Brewster in our holster too. So we can lay back and grab one of those bargains while other teams have to buy out of despair.

For anyone worried about our lack of clean sheets it’s worth pointing out that in 16 games we have:

      -  3 clean sheets
      - 12 games in which we have conceded a single goal
      - 1 game in which we have conceded 2 goals (a resounding 5-2 win against the bitters)
      - the second best defensive record in the PL this season

Lovren's injury is a concern with the crammed fixture list lying ahead.  But he has hardly ever played 6 games in a row and don't think he managed that in this run he has had in the team.   We are to the bare bones in defense.

Powerful performance.Weighed up the job then delivered the knockout. Bit of a stroll in the end. Shout out for Mo, not back to his irrepressible best but still pretty good. Good all round. Nabby did well, took the back heel from Mo and put it away.

Curtis Jones didn't look out of place either, still only 18.

Think Jimmy Milner could play alongside VVD as could Hendo. But hope it's not a serious injury.Lovren is back to his best.

Just what Keita needed, a good run out against a team that wasn't going to cause us many problems, and the lad really took advantage of the space they left him to run into, once he settled into the game, and did very well.

We never really went above 2nd gear, and we won at a canter, which is good with the run of fixtures we have.
