Reading this after the  match and It totally cracked me up. Just thinking about one of the most Liverpool-daft people I "know" getting  stuck into a documentary on the Samoan raccoon butterfly fish while our Champions League decider is going on is making me giggle. Braved the storm the first 10-15 minutes but after that we played them off the park. All that was missing was the finished chances and after we bagged those two in the 2nd half we were BOSS. Just played with confidence, swagger, class, whatever you want to calll it. It was tremendous quality on display and we are deserved group winners.

I have a feeling supporters will be traveling to Ukraine for the round of 16 but who we play doesn't matter because whoever it is they are going to have to play US (the champions).

So no easy teams really at this stage, but I am sure that none of them want to draw US.

Henderson was excellent. Great to see keita having a big impact, I’d been starting to worry about him. Oh, and it’s uttery utterly absurd how good Virgil is. Best I’ve ever seen.

The game went as I would expected would play out with us weathering a bit of a storm early on but we found our footing in the game pretty quick and with better finishing we should of had a couple before half time. Once we got that early goal in the second half you can feel RB break and what a amazing finish from Salah on the 2nd goal, made it look fairly easy despite the angel.

As far as players thought Hendo had very strong showing in the middle, nice to see Ketia chip in with another goal to build the confidence up even more and thought Mane/Salah threaten all game and looked ready to play. Firmino was sloppy in this game and shame about Lovren getting more cramp, I know Klopp said again it isn't serious but sure this means Gomez will get a run of game to reclaim his starting position next to VvD.

Big thing in the end of it that we are in the draw for the next round and don't have to think about it until February. Looking forward to see who we draw.

I know it's a little early...I was really concerned about the Fabinho injury but, it seems that Keita, although a completely different type of player than Fabinho, that Keita seems to have filled in perfectly. He seems to be the player we thought he was and has finally got used to this league.

Another brilliant win. the REDS march on.

Got home in time for the second half and thought we were brilliant from what I saw. Buzzing for Keita as well as I was starting to get worried about him a few weeks ago when he wasn't being given a start.

But the best performance of the night has got to go to the fantastic away end for belting out "Oh Jeremy Corbyn" & "F**k The Tories". Very proud to be a scouser and a red last night!

Wrong, for us all those teams are easy, I honestly don't fear any other team right now. I kind of want Real Madrid, would be fun to knock them out in the first round.

Great to see Naby start two games in a row, big statement of trust from Jürgen playing him last night, and hopefully he can play a big part in the second half of the season.

Still in the running in the big competitions.
Playing grown up football under the best manager in the world bar none.
