Champions League Draw Monday Dec. 16

I'm keen for Sergio Ramos to come to Anfield. That's all.

I am sure we could beat Real Madrid over 2 legs, look what happened to Barcelona at Anfield !

Looking at the other ties. Its actually not too bad.

We should beat athletico anyway.

And there will be some big teams knocked out.

I’m fine with that. They’re nowhere near what they once were. Won’t be easy, but every time I see them they look pretty toothless.

Even though I kind of wanted Real Madrid, I much prefer Atletico. Over two legs we should be able to beat them, they are not quite the force they were a few years ago.

They're a pot 2 team. Much better than the Chavs who are in pot 1 and now face pot 1 Barca.

We can beat anyone over two legs and they're no exception. I think it'll be PSG, Real, Valencia, us, Bayern, Juventus Leipzig and Barcelona going through.

Quite incredible that Man City (1 Champions League semi final in their entire history, which was 5 years ago & 14 points behind us in the League) are 7/2 favourites for the competition. Ourselves 2nd at 4/1

I suppose they'll be putting their eggs in the Champions League basket due to their current league standing but there's no way they should be favourites. I'd have them in 3rd at best, behind ourselves and Barcelona

The only big shock will be Barcelona crashing out as Napoli are a damned good and tricky side, as we witnessed, although the loss of Ancelotti is a bit of an unknown.

My bad, Not Barca but Bayern. Chavs face a pot 1 team in Bayern. We face a pot 2 team. Not the worst draw in that sense.

Looking at that draw we could very well be the only English club going through.

A hard game but the lads will be pleased to go back to Madrid after June. The away game will be perfect for us if they come at us . I'd expect us to go through but I don't get City being favourites this will really piss of RM. Some good game to look forward to.
