Looking ahead, if we get past Athletico then the second leg of the quarters are to be played on the 14th/15th April - UEFA will have to respect our wishes of not playing on the 15th.

Quite the opposite mate. Simeone is the best defensive coach in the world and while his sides have always had a goal in them they're much better at keeping them out.

Jürgen is obviously the better manager but Simeone is no mug & has reached the final twice himself. Think the tie will be very interesting as it's going to be one of the best attacking sides of recent years against one of the best defensive sides

Defoe the toughest draw in my mind given their defensive style which is not so different to the way Napoli play. But to be honest I was just delighted to get through the group, we've been to the last two finals and were chasing our first league title in 30 years. So long as we land it I'm not so fussed about what happens in the other competitions so I'm not previous about who we draw.

I enjoy the champions league when we play top sides and we got a very good side in Athletico who should offer a different match up to what we have seen in the past. Looking forward to see how it plays out and how the rest of the competition plays out there are a few tasty match-ups to look forward to.
