F***ing mystery- the graphics clearly show him behind the defenders foot, ref was sh*t.

If the keeper is ahead of the ball, Salah then he needs 2 players behind him to be onside.

Gritty win, wasn't pretty but Salah and Alisson came up with the goods when called upon and it is nice to see us start getting some clean sheets on the bounce.

With Leicester City dropping points making the gap to double digits just one more step closer to the title

      Here's the thing...

As distinctly average we were today we still deserved to win as the stats show.

Fact of the matter is, these days we compare our performances not to the opposition but only to ourselves.

Poor game, quite sloppy but obviously affected by conditions. Cute goal by Salah at the end and a very nice 3 points, thanks.

the wind has been really strong and gusty today Bobby saw the ball run away a couple of times which looked like he had lost control.
These lads know how to find a way and Mo referred to this in his interview after the game

Watford played like a team wanting to impress their new boss, they made it hard for us, although we did seem to be in huff and puff mode. Excellent first from Mo with his right foot and a bit of genius for his second. Unlucky not to be three with VAR ruling out Sadio's, still haven't seen a replay of it, so can't say if I agree or disagree with the decision, brilliant cross from Shaq though!

Another three points, a 10 point lead with Leicester dropping points and off to Qatar we go to F**k up some Mexicans ;)

I just saw the game now as I recorded it. I did not get on the internet so I watched it as if live. I was going to die with VVD's back-pass for a minute.

I know that many will say Salah for MOTM and rightly so but I went with Gomez. He played so brilliantly, only one awkward header with no danger, he got wrong.

Early kick off as well. Our guys are probably not as well conditioned to play that early (most of our training sessions the last couple of weeks have been towards evening I think)

Didn’t think we were as poor as some say, Watford were clearly up for it and to their credit they came to get points. Not sure how VAR can overturn that goal when it was literally millimeters. I thought VARs purpose was to determine if there was a refereeing error. Call on the pitch was goal? So to me it should have stood. It wasn’t a clear and obvious error. But to Mane’s credit he didn’t kick up a fuss, just urged the boys to get in with it.

Another 3 points and aren’t we just making it look pretty easy right now. Let’s enjoy that!

Always knew Watford would be a tough gam once Pearson cane in. His sides are always ver organised and they actually picked some good moments to press our back line and caused some problems. They have got some decent players with Delifeu, Deeney, Dacoure. Another 3 points in the bag and the squad players doing well again. Fingers Gino is ok but at least we have depth at the position

We do have depth in midfield in some way, but Gini would go down as one of our solid midfielders that Klopp trusts in big games. In the mould of Fabinho, Hendo and Milner.

I dont think Klopp would want to field a midfield with any 2 of Lallana, Ox, Keita, or Shaq in the starting line up for a tough premier league game.

The attack minded midfielders are all fit, but in Fab and Gini we have lost 2 players for now that Klopp has relied upon, even when there has been calls to get goals into the side from midfield.

Something to keep an eye on now as well as the obvious issue at CB.

I think we missed Robbo and he certainly showed his value to the team.In the end it was a good result and the Leicester result made it excellent.Well done REDS.

Last year I said to enjoy the 97 points as we'd never ever get that again.

      Starting to reconsider.

Although I don't think anywhere near that is going to be required.

What the F**k are you rambling about,  the goal stood on account of Salah's brilliance, no more no less.

      🤣

I get where he is coming from in a way, would be no decision to make if Salah dodnt produce what he did.

Still, if the keeper gets ahead of the ball (which I think he did in the end) then there needs to be 2 players behind him to be played onside. That's why the line was drawn on the second defender, not the guy off the pitch - who still counts despite being behind the goal.
