sadly he is just not physically strong enough and keeps on getting brushed aside

There are some players you look at and think for all their technical skill do they really have the overall make up of character and physique to establish themselves at the very top level in the Premier League.

 It’s not just physical strength or stature but an attitude of mind and the ability to take responsibility instead of fading into the background — I believe this is what sets best players apart from the rest.

I just don’t get that feeling with Minamino unfortunately. Same as Keita. Hope I’m wrong though.

Watched couple games of him playing for Southampton, he was slow, had poor positioning, and weak.  Seems he was not interested in playing at times.  Loaning him out seems not doing him good at all.  I think he needs to stay with the first team to improve his game.

Coutinho was at another level technically and for sure he adapted more quickly to the EPL.  It reminds me of Assaidi's case.

He just isn't suited for the Premier League. He definitely would thrive in Spain or maybe even Germany.

If they get a good offer I think hes gone.

I think he's going to have a good season and force his way in. Unlike Kieta, he's been healthy. The only thing holding him back is the system/ English style game. The kid has real talent and just needs time. Excited to hear we're going to give it to him.

Sure is a talent. I think the conundrum is also figuring out what exactly is his best position. I'd love to see him succeed at Liverpool (just imagine... we'll be big in Japan!)

I think it was in the group stages of the CL that he had a great game playing in Bobby's role and linking up with Jota on the left. No reason he can't have a future here as a rotation player.

He has looked particularly sharp during the training it seems and his goal shows that he's getting used to the system and his teammates. If he can play a good part this season, it's just great. We need goals and options and hopefully, he'll do that. If he does, we're saving a lot of money.

I'm not seeing it because Jota is before him and even AOC. Maybe even Elliott if he plays in this role.
