Wasn't too delighted to see him come into midfield instead of Hendo, but I thought he did ok. Worked hard, had some good touches and was always available. That's actually about as good as I've seen him to be honest, which isn't saying much, but hopefully he is starting to find his feet.

Jürgen obviously still has some faith in him cos he could have brought on Philips and kept Hendo in there (or brought on Ox).

He's basically a poor man's Gini, tidy in possession and a good engine, just weaker and less technically proficient.

Taki is a winger in the Prem. Plain and simple. He isn't physical enough to play in the MF in England, and thats okay. I definitely think he looks lively on the wing. Will only get better with time and confidence. Definitely gained some of that today

best game by a mile, and I actually think he takes up good positions, so good that he drags defenders away from more clinical finishers. Its a bit of enigma, but he is a good backup and better than Divock.

He takes up brilliant positions but doesnt get the pass then often enough. This will grow the more he plays

So Klopp said he wanted to give him more game time, how about playing him instead of that useless lump Origi then Jürgen!  Come on be honest man you just don't like him for whatever reason, that's ok.

In any case its a good move for Taki, hopefully he'll now get a decent run of games and turn into the good forward I know is in there.

Maybe, but if that was our thinking then surely we would have accepted the option to buy deal?

At his age I think a loan spell signals the beginning of the end really.
