I like a bit of devilment in our players. Milner is a top shithouser, but there was some real daft bollocks going on today that was a bit too much for my tastes anyway.

The referee was as much to blame for indulging them.

There were a few 'cramp' incidents but I wouldn't say they were rolling around everywhere, trying to get players sent off or whatever.

And yes the ref was weak.  Glad we won it 11 v 11.

Don't think any of their players had reached Sterling or Kane levels.

Some of them did go down easily under contact, but to be honest, I've been critical of some Liverpool players not doing that at times.  Not Sadio Mane though - he's one of our kings of the dark arts!

Yeah not too much diving, the bloke in the skull cap at full back who stole a career at Bayern was making the most of everything mind.

The bloke who got stretched off with cramp though and again the keeper. Just personally find it hard to justify but like Diego has said they dont have the means to build a squad like ours so it was something they came up with to try and give themselves an edge.

Pissed myself at the end though with Robbo who seemed to have had more thañ his fill of their bollocks for one day.

Robbo makes me piss sometimes. Very funny the way he goes Bout his business, but on a serious note shows himself to be a great team man.

      Haha yeah.  Saw that.

He'd obviously been letting it get to him for about 120 minutes then exploded at the end.

He's turning into a right narky tw*t.  Which I like!

Don’t know where to post this but here goes..

I think this team when it runs it course, every player involved in our success should get a testimonial... not just sold off but given a proper send off or retire at the club..

Ref was properly horrible. Had the game been actually called fairly, we’d have likely won it easily in normal time.

Flamingo were ok, but they benefited from being allowed to get away with whatever they wanted. Was a joke that they overturned the penalty call, was a joke that they didn’t call the handball in our box (or even look at it).

Glad we won it, the boys seemed to enjoy it.

Liverpool's last three trophies have been won in exactly 29 weeks. The previous three were won in the space of 5 years 9 months and 13 days. #LFC

Looking back, I'm shocked Alisson didn't win the Ballon D'or over Messi. I swear he won more trophies and accomplished more than anyone on the planet in 2019. Goalkeepers don't tend to be looked at though outside of their individual award :(

Bittersweet trophy raise...first we get the trophy and the medals and then I see Ox with a boot on and crutches.  Hope it's not serious.  I loved how he just slotted right in after his knee injury. Let's hope Minimino is as advertised. We need him now.

Thank God we won this final. This was my first final win as Live thread creator. Liverpool has removed all superstitions, I done as Gobbelaar said, pissing on my hand :)

MOTM for the goal was Firmino but Gomez played brilliantly too.

For the penalty, it was at least a foul outside the area :(

Hope AOC is not that seriously injured!

Aye, got a feeling though Minamino will need to be schooled in the way of Klopp before he gets serious minutes here.

Hard on him if we expect him to perform miracles straight away.

Heartbreaking for Ox the bloke really deserves a break, but we do have a bit of cover in his more attacking role in midfield with Keita.

The defensive midfield roles worry me a little bit more. We seem to be missing the metronome that is Fab and obviously Gini  being back now is a plus.

Been a lot of work for Hendo which you have to respect him for, but the bloke needs a rest pretty soon but he wont be getting one and he'll be put back out against Leicester.

Entirely agree about Alisson but not too concerned when his amazing skills are priceless and recognised by the manager and supporters alike.
VVD said he was "slightly disappointed" to miss out to Messi on the Ballon D'Or but added he has the respect of the Argentine international.

They obviously told him to look again to see whether it was inside or outside the area and then the soft tw*t decides its not even a foul.

Should there not be someone in his ear saying "now we know it's a foul, but do you think it's a peno?"
      It's not rocket science.
At least our goal was clear cut, otherwise am sure VAR would've shown it from an angle where something went wrong.
