From Leicester’s point of view, what does Rodgers actually say to his team after tonight? Surely there’s nothing he can tell them they should of done better ? They literally were just outclassed from the first minute until the last by an incredible football team.

Klopp says afterward he thinks the team has performed better on a couple of occasions this season, than it did tonight.

"Yes, I would say so. We played an exceptional game against Manchester City, we played a super game against Arsenal and we’ve had a few good games this season. I am not sure if it was better, it was just different. For tonight it was exactly the performance we needed. I think a little bit less good and we would have had problems. We had no real problems in the game because the boys were really 100 per cent in the game and that helped us a lot."

He's the expert and all, but I think tonight was a cut above.

Being World club champions is giving the team that extra bit of swagger.The belief tonight was incredible. Sometimes the break changes a game but we were even more confident after the break.

Apart from the great plaudits for TAA, Nabby was impressive.Improving game on game and Joe back to his best. Hendo controlled the games as well.Took a nasty knock.Looked like a bruised shin. Bobby back to his best and a difficult player to mark as well. Mane does his normal stuff.Mo fluffed one or two but he's a danger at any time.

Other clubs might be tempted to move TAA into right sided attacking midfield but we have so many options there so there is no need to.

Leicester City form isn't the greatest form going into the game after dropping points in the last two games and that continued but we also put in a great performance from start to finish. The middle looked really sharp winning the ball and moving the ball

Again seem that Firmino found his scoring boots after what was a dry spell over the past month which is nice to see as well as TAA who deserved a goal for all his great play down the right side.

Hendo has stepped up game since Fabinho went down and again tonight his passing and movement has been excellent. He been dynamic playing deeper role and shown another side to his game that we have not seen in a while.

This was another step towards the title, we really put a marker down and now up to Citeh to match us tomorrow.

This match was definitely worth watching twice in about 7 hours.

Voted for the best RB in the world for MOTM

What a fantastic result for our REDS,it could of so easily been eight.On we go to number 19.

Still buzzing,just read we have got 79 points from a max of 81 !! Just crazy. We battered Leicester from start to finish,and it could have been a lot more than 4 goals. Mane and Salah both a bit off,but Bobby was as cool as you like with his finishing, defence looked so solid, another clean sheet, TAA motm for me, but Henderson played his best game of the season.

Said at the start. Keep Maddison and Vardy quiet and that team falls to bits. Trent MOTM but he only had the time and space he did because of Jordan who is playing out of his skin right now. Hope he’s not too badly hurt.

Also shout out Naby Keita who finally looks like a Liverpool player. Maybe the hype and the shirt he’s wearing was too much for him and the injuries didn’t make things better. Seems happy in his role now, long may he improve

Cannot believe Maddison didn't get at least a yellow card for some horrendous tackling and yet Joe Gomez gets one for tumbling over when Steptoe ran straight into him..
To be fair the ref had a decent game. i had no idea it was a penalty until I saw the slow mo on the telly, never even needed VAR.

What a team this is, what a squad this is.. and let's not forget, we haven't had Matip or Fabinho for what seems like ages..

On current form I think both Fab and Joel might find it tricky to force their way back in. Hendo is playing very well recently and Joe has found that chemistry with Virgil again, what a CB pairing that is, completely cancelled out the threat from Steptoe.

Just about to watch the best 30 mins football seen for a generation on LFCTV. the last 30 mins last night just destroyed Leicester.
