The midfielder is restored to the XI after recovering from a muscle issue as the Reds’ only change to the team deployed against Flamengo in the FIFA Club World Cup final in Qatar on Saturday.

He replaces the injured Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

It's a big opportunity but we'll be in a strong position re the league regardless of today's result. That should help the team play without pressure and just let the quality and tenacity take hold of the match. Has a big match feel for me, thousands of miles away.

That’s about the best line up we could put out today. Please with that. With Vardy, like boxing, they’ll always have a punchers chance, but in reality, we should be far too strong for these, and our relentless attacks will pay dividends I think.
