This should be a fairly comfortable win, we are better than them in recent games plus we didn't just have a gruelling match 48 hrs earlier.

That Adama Traore is definitely one to watch. Over to you Virgil.  ;D

Should be a comfortable game. Just need to get that 1st goal and get comfortable.

Let the injured players parade the World Cup before the game its been done before 55 years ago. Our boys look like they could take on anyone at the moment the confidence is high and the level of football we are playing is as good as it gets.

      Watched Wolves v City earlier.
Going back a while, gobs***e Kyle Walker said they were that good, they could play blindfolded.
Well, News for you Kyle, today you played like you were blindfolded.
On to Wolves. I like the way they try to play decent footy with the ball on the floor. Traore poses a threat with his pace and powerfull distance shooting.
We play anywhere near our best and we should have too much for them.
3:0 to the Red Men as long as we don’t make too many changes. I know the lads need a rest, but we are looking so good, it would be such a shame to disrupt the rhythm.

Wolves are a tough opposition and will be on a high after the City win, but they would have had about 40 hours between the City game ending and ours starting so we've had an extra day. They may have had an extra man vs City but they were pushing the entire game, we can wear these down in the first half. Don't need to go crazy, just a patient sensible approach and get them chasing the ball and they will tire and we can then just pick them off. The last thing their wide players will want is to be chasing after Trent, Robbo, Mane and Mo all game, especially Doherty who looked shattered by the end of the City game.

Liverpool to wear FIFA Champions Badge against Wolves
Liverpool will debut the gold FIFA Champions Badge during Sunday's encounter with Wolverhampton Wanderers at Anfield.

Jürgen Klopp's side will wear the emblem on their shirts for a one-off occasion in the Premier League.

The Reds earned the logo – 78 millimetres by 57 millimetres in size – after winning the FIFA Club World Cup for the first time in Qatar last weekend.

The team will also sport the badge for matches in the Champions League.

A FIFA spokesperson told Liverpoolfc.com last week: "As per the usage guidelines, the winning team can wear the FIFA World Champions Badge from the day it becomes champions up to and including the final of the next edition of the tournament."

We are world champs, but this is not moment to think about this. they dont understand , yes we can preen our feathers, but there is still a job to do.  Only Half way through the season here, as well as other compts. Jurgan has got these focusing on the next one. Great to have this badge on owr shirts, but it means nothing at the mo

Dont see how this is getting in the way, if anything will give our boys another boost.

Their success deserves recognition, and it is being recognised. F**k all wrong with that, and I'm fully expecting whatever the team, whatever the result that our lads are totally focussed on the job at hand.

Harsh. People need recognition and celebrating success is part and parcel of work and in your own words, getting a job done. You need to recognise and motivate your people if you want them to fight for you, something Jurgan has done very well.

Motivation comes in two forms - carrot and stick. In this situation it's recognising success and motivating people. We'll discuss the stick some other time. You could either be a staff or a boss, either way you'd understand rewards and recognition. If you're a student, you'd understand recognition even more. Nothing wrong with recognising success for best performance outcome.

Let's put it this way, I'm sure the badge isn't to blame if we pick up zero points after today.

Don’t know why but think shaq will come in for Salah otherwise same team.

Won’t be an easy game they have some clever players that can hurt you.

Wont be easy, but we should win we have ground out results and rode our luck a bit this season. All signs of a very good team, I might add. The last 3 or 4 games we have played some lovely football and may just be starting to hit form.

I think there might be quite a bit of rotation for this match, certainly the front line with Origi and Shaq starting.

Wolves are a decent team but they'll be knackered after the match against Citeh and I think we'll have to much for them, just need to keep Traore quiet.

this will be a tough game if we don't get a early goal they are well known for scoring later on in games.....like the remaining games I would happily take a 1-0 win

you should know by now we don't make life easy for the supporters never have done probably never will do. Whilst it would be wonderful to think we could go on now and win in fine style I think we all agree we just want it done doesn't matter how we do it
