Yep we may not be at full throttle but they have also had a tough schedule and we have the bigger squad even with the injuries. Keita will clearly start and Milner maybe for Henderson and lallana

It may be known by different terminology now heimdall, but Iā€™m an old creaky 😁
Itā€™s quite simple, but very very effective.
Midfielder plays the ball up to a striker who turns and has his back to goal, lays the ball right back to the midfielder, who instantly lays it forward to a second striker or attacking midfielder, who has already started his run between the defenders, who are already picking up opposing attackers in the move.
Itā€™s pacey, direct and gives you a free running player, on side, breaking the defensive line.

Horrible to defend against when itā€™s played right, and Utd broke through us a couple of times at theirs using it. Itā€™s a bit outdated now, but so so effective when sprung unexpectedly.

Ah ok thanks, yes like that tactic a lot, needs a midfielder with a good touch/pass and a bloody strong forward to pull it off well. I actually think we play a variation of that quite often, but it involves Salah holding up the ball and then having 2 or 3 runners who he can pass to, but its less accurate.

Yes like this, full strength, lets not get complacent against Sheffield, they are a decent team and tough to break down so we need as many attack vectors as possible.

I would expect to see pretty much same team as Wolves, Klopp will go strong this game while rest a majority of the main players while having squad/youthful side on the weekend vs Everton.

Again this could be tricky fixture as this side doesn't lose often away from home and when we played them earlier in the season it should of been draw. I hope for this game our trio has their scoring boots on early as it could ease the pressure off us and I expect Ketia to play a key part occupying the space between the midfield and their back three.

Who will we turn up like, us v Leicester, or us v wolves ?
This lot at least try to play good footy with the ball on the floor. Work well off the ball and generally make things happen.
We really need to be on it tonight to beat these. Iā€™m sure Klopp will go full strength to hopefully dominate and get ahead.
If only we could replicate the Leicester performance every game.
Gonna be a tough match, but Iā€™m still going for a reds win. 3:0 if we get an early breakthrough !

JĆ¼rgen making a point to say he wasn't happy with some aspects of the performance vs. Wolves. He seems to be saying that in context of discussion about rotation so it may signal not running the same 11 or 10 of 11 out again, but the hints that he sometimes gives about team selection don't always turn out to have been hints at all, so I guess it's just wait and see what the team sheet says Thursday night.

I expect us to improve and put in a really good performance.

that the good news, the bad is that Son is back and I see him as more dangerous than Kane. We should still have enough to beat Spurs who are in a very wobbly form at the moment.

I'm actually a bit nervous about this game against Sheffield, can't quite explain why. Hopefully we score nice and early and kick on from there otherwise I think it could be a frustrating game.

Iā€™m aware of how dangerous this game could be, but obviously so is the boss. But he still might bring in fresh legs.Origi did brilliantly against Everton and has been unlucky not to get a bit of a run in the side.

Shaq,if fit will start I think, as he was pencilled in against Wolves. Could see Hendo,Gini,Shaq,Origi,Bobby,Mane as the front 6. Then rest a few more in the FA Cup.

n.b. maybe we should bring in Coadyā€™s long lost uncle and sit him right in the front row so he can stare at Conor...

      cue mafia music..

Still have to deal with Dele the Diver, heā€™s sly with it. Also get a grip of Eriksen, plays a nifty through ball. But this is not snooker so we donā€™t have to think two shots ahead..

Seen they were out training on Stanley Park last night.

I think this will be a tough game, we are at home so I'm hoping for the 3 points, but Wilder has done a top job with these.

42 more points. 14 more wins. Draw and weā€™re one point down. Win and weā€™re three points down. Weā€™re at home. We can do this. Countdown starts now.

think the lads will have had a good rest and a flea in the ear from JĆ¼rgen so I expect a really full on performance tonight.
NOt bad is it have a below par performance but still win the game. I expect full strength tonight then wholesale changes for the FA Cup.

Sheffield united proving to be no pushovers, with a respectable position in the table. However expect a 2  0 win for the Reds, at Anfield tonight.
