What a victory!!  ;D Perfect match winning goal.

Klopp rolls the dice and wins. Albeit a concern with Milner, all our key players rested, and on we go to the next round.

23 - Liverpool remain unbeaten in their last 23 home games against Everton in all competitions (W13 D10); they have beaten the Toffees twice at Anfield in the same season for the first time since the 1986-87 campaign. Lopsided.

That second half was a different animal to the first. Possibly the younger members of the team were a little overawed for the first 45. They looked the better team in the second half though, in fact they looked like they knew they had Everton's number. I know that goal is going to dominate the motm poll, but for me it's a toss up between William's and Adrian.

Jones played well, scored a great goal, but not the best man on the pitch. Can't really pick it out, but Adrian was brilliant and kept us in that game for sure. Lallana was superb and you could see he really perked up to the responsibility of Captain. Williams was playing at a level beyond his years. Gomez perfectly solid and composed throughout. Larouchi had a great game too and didn't seem affected by being thrown into the game like that.

Just amazing really. Going to enjoy this for a while.

Remember that time a Liverpool team full of kids about to do their A-levels beat a full strength Everton team?

      F***ing quality weren't it.

Feel for Carlo...only a tiny tiny bit....but that shower let the man down today..Walcott was crap..he was a half decent player when he went to Everton but now he's a disgrace. Second half was one of the most gutless pathetic performance from any Everton team at Anfield.

      Only one word BOOM!

How depressing must it be to support Everton, outplayed completely in the second half not by our reserves but by our junior team!

We've had bigger wins this season in the league but my word does this go straight in as my favourite so far.

I honestly thought we'd get beat comfortably and then to go on and produce a performance like that. Just F***ing incredible.

Yeah Adrian did well but every chance went right at him. Jones for me MOTM.Having the confidence to attempt a shot like that. Williams as well. All the young players did well. First team got the rest they needed.

      Mission impossible achieved.
