OK what role does Pogba play, I honestly don't know beyond him being a midfielder, unless its the role of sulking tit with a pr**k of an agent who constantly agitates for a move away, in which case he probably is the best ;-)

In my opinion a attacking midfielder / playmaker. personally I would just give him the freedom of the pitch which explains why I'll never be a football manager  ;D

Buy yeah your right, his sulking when doesn't get his own way doesn't do him any favours hence why he's very much likely to be sold in the summer window.  :-\

The only team to take points off us this season. Time to put that right. Same team as Spurs away. 3-1 to the Reds!!!  :kop5cf8koxp6: :kop5cf8koxp6: :kop5cf8koxp6:

Looks good to me.  I can see us doing a number on them Sunday.  Will be a good performance and a 4-0 win.

      CMON you redmen!!!

That's in all comps baring in mind, United have had 6 games against absolute farmers in the Europa League

They're clutching at straws, anything to cheer them up a little.

Just hope it isn't 30 years though before we win the league again.

I hate to say it, but Utd have the big club pedigree and doubt it'll be 30 years before they bounce back. But if we can keep you at bay for 15-20, I'll be happy ;)

if they continue buying players like Pogba and Fred and list full of avg then they are destined to be where they are scrambling for Europa league places. we will pass their league titles a long time before they get near our European Cup wins.

OK AM/playmaker, nah he really isn't the best, he is good when he can be bothered to play but he is not the best.
Liverpool don't really play with an AM so I can't compare our guys although I'd probably put Ox, Keita and Gini above Pogba as attacking midfielders as their link up play is superb plus workrate is far higher than Pogba, but I'd be amazed if there aren't better specialist AM's out there who put in a  good performance week in week out. Would Maddison at Leicester be classified as an AM or Grealish, I'd honestly put both ahead of Pogba and that's just off the top of my head.

Kuyt worked hard but missed a hell of a lot of chances, was very frustrating at times, was better when he was moved to the right and wasn't the main striker.

The mentality of United is if it isn't our day then WTF. They have lost that belief and in truth it went the day the Old Soak packed up. Fact is they do have some quality players but they don't fight to hard if they think it's not their day.

We have ground out results time and again this season and last. They'll never be a force again untill they get some real fight and belief. It won't happen with Ole. He's not got enough anger in him, enough desire. He says stuff like.."we're making progress...on the right lines" etc. He should be saying..." go out there and get those 3 fukin' points..come in short and knock 7 kinds of sh*te out of yer". Then get the players in who will fight to the last drop.

But then again when that mentality goes it's very difficult to get it back.

When Paul Pogba was at Juventus he definitely was one of the best in the world, but he's become a spoiled sulk and I wouldn't want him anywhere near my team now.

Waiting for the Mirror article: "A Liverpool supporter on a prominent forum has called for a mortar attack on the Man United team bus before Sunday's big match!" ;D - will include some United fan crying at the oppressive bullying from HR.  :D

There lies the problem though, I think it's very hard for Italian / Serie A players to come over to the English league and integrate. Of course you've got the likes of Salah but he'd played all around Europe previously so had experience. Pogba played youth level at United and then forged his career over in Italy so that's where he probably did most of his "development". Great in Italy but doesn't seem to be able to cut it here apart from the odd flash of brilliance every 7 or 8 matches.

Aquilani was the next best thing over in Italy but he came to the Premier League and looked like a Championship player. There are very few Italian / "Serie A" players (that I can think of anyway) who have made it over here. In the 90s you had a couple, with the likes of Zola & Vialli for Chelsea but apart from that nobody really springs to mind

Here here...and we have in a sense a similar player in James Milner. Not the most skilful player but what a grafter. And it's having players like Kuyt and Milner that set the standards in terms of hard graft and that great work ethic goes back to Sir Bill of Shankly.
