Love it I just love playing United. Always a very tense affair even the week leading up to it. I hate saying it but I feel Ole is learning well on the job I think he is starting to get his point across to his squad.
That being said we will win this not comfortably but by a goal.

I can’t wait for it I’d love to be going to it. I have great craic with the missus cos unfortunately she supports them. COYR

Shaqiri not in training again today. I doubt he's in the 18 at this point.

The subs should be Adrian, Matip, Williams, Lallana/Ox (whichever does not start), Fabinho, Origi, Minamino.

I watched the highlights of a game against Man U on you tube the other night from 80/81 and then another from around 83/84.
      What games of football they were back then !! some fantastic footballers on both sides ;
McQueen, Jordan, Macari, Housten, Robson,Whiteside, Coppell v Souness, Dalglish, Case, Hansen, Ray Kennedy, Rush, Molby.
I had the privilege of going to Anfield to watch a few around that time and they were all amazing games with ear splitting volumes from every corner of the ground.
The tackles went flying in from the first whistle and it was a proper heart pounder of a fixture.. always fair though.

These days it's not quite the same... although I do remember Mark Hughes elbowing Kenny and fracturing his cheekbone in one game  :f_steam:
Hasn't been since the likes of the Gerrard and Keane generation locked horns...

Last years game at Anfield was a joke as far as Man U were concerned... Big Van had that lazy fat f**ker Lukaku in his back pocket the whole game..
It will be another joke on Sunday.
The pundits and media can gloss Sundays game up with all the razzamataz they like, playing back footage of Ronaldo, Van Persie, Giggs, Rooney scoring against us but it's all a pipe dream now i'm afraid..

The glory Man U days are over...

This is our year and on Sunday it will be our game.
Looking forward to watching Gary Neville and the likes trying to dissect just how bad Man U actually are during the post match chat  ;D

Early goal = Onslaught !!...... head says 3-0, heart says 5-0

the Man UTD Bus is already on its way to Anfield already to be parked up to protect their 20% possession oh how the mighty have fallen.
Absorbing pressure and relying on the break to sneak a goal just proves how far they have dropped and now their salivating at the prospect of getting any sort of result from us just to keep them from completely cracking up. Now not even the number one Club in their own city  lucky to be in the top three in the North West.

Still of the opinion that Wolves away is a trickier test than this one.

Man Utd may well put a shift in for their cup final but we would have to suffer a major drop in form to be beaten by them. Just can't see us letting them do that.

I've seen us duff many results at home to United over the years but I'd be amazed if this Utd side beat us. Even if the ref has his Cantona undies on I'd fancy us.

They will sit tight throughout the game and hope to hit us on the break through Rashford and James, fortunately Gomez and VVD are just as if not quicker.

Just need to be patient as the first goal will be vital in bringing them out and attempt to play football.

Have been saying before previous matches with them that they are F***ing sh*te and we should be ripping them a couple of new arseholes, but for some reason we've not been at our best in those games, particularly last season in the 0-0 at old toilet when they lost 3 guys to injury, 2 in 1st half I think, and we still couldn't get 3 pts.

They have a game plan that can work against the big teams, like Moaninho last week, sit and concede possession, and hit fast on the break. Gashford I'm sure will play, Ole has been reading his ladybird book of mind games. We just need to be patient and play our game like at Spuds and wait for the opening. Thought we tired a bit toward the end in that one, but hard to see that happening at a full Anfield.

Looking forward to the game. It's not like we need to get a monkey off our backs, more like an annoying flea - and at the end of the day it's 3 points towards the title, and these fuckos are just the next standing in the way, just do what we do. Hard though to treat it like any other game, cause can't help hate their miserable guts.

Be nice to see some of the lads come back in from injury, am sure Jürgen won't rush them though. So same team as Spuds with maybe 1 midfield change, lets see.

Atmosphere should be great, players should be up for it, so roll em on.

Ray Houghton was on LFC TV the other night remembering how during his day this fixture was too consumed with "players kicking each other." But he reckons it has moved beyond that somewhat with more football played between the two these days.

But you could see in his eyes how eager he is, like the rest of us, to see us smash them on Sunday.

it is a zombie paradise as witnessed by the crowd at the old toilet. Lets just remember we go into this as European and world champions rested and ready for any dirty time wasting games the scum want to play.

Should be pointed out mate no-one has a F***ing clue who has decided to post this, none of the usual Liverpool fan groups have posted this.

This is why social media is broken. This poster was created but no one knows who created it. It definitely exists but no one has taken any kind of responsibility for it. We have active fan groups and none of them are involved. Everyone you speak to says they’re not interested because (quite rightly) a game in mid January is very much business as usual.

We have to go for it, they are fatigued and their best player is almost certainly out (according to their fans).

I know we won last season but victories against these lot are few and far between. Klopp has to be I think less cautious against them. Even more so at home.

I was right in line with Razor's header in the 3-3 draw I still think Torres putting half their team on their collective arses takes some beating. If we turn up as this new Liverpool its going to be special no matter what shithouse spoiling tactics they bring

;D yeah its hardly a derby with utd in this kind of form and with half of team injured but still i doubt this will be an easy game and i always like getting the bragging rights after those matches.
