      On the facr of it a bit of a strangr one. 22 without much first team footba) but encouraging signs so far

      this is a weird one for me too. He wasn't near the brentford 1st team, but was impressive for their b team. Was he just a replacement for Brewster in the U-23s?

      had a lot of goals in the U18 premier league also. You can never tell, some players just get really good later on with experience.

      I wonder if his analytics were just off the charts to the point that even though he plays for the reserves, the club decided he was worth a tenner. If he crashes and burns, no harm done, but as you say, maybe he'll just turn out to be a rare late bloomer.

      Probably the best of what was out there..so yeah some hope but we'll see.
