      Players who flirted with LFC Over the years;
      Fakir, turan, texiera, Silva, Villa....Barry....

Have a feeling this one will happen though.

The story I recently heard about Turan and a gun maybe the reason why we never ever signed the mental tw*t.

It should. He needs to stop commenting when asked however.

Was a good goal, and he works hard in the press

Few sources claiming this will happen and think it will unless a massive smoke screen for another big signing

For the money being quoted, £25 million release clause, this is a no brainer, get it down Edwards.

I saw that the release clause is £50 million but even so, I think Jürgen will be on to it.

      Think it's  €30M + performance-related add-ons.

30m-50m even 100m.....we have the funds now so any player we want within that range is attainable be it Werner or anyone else.

Funds should not be an issue anymore.

This from Simon Hughes and Raphael Honigstein gets at how the decision regarding Werner has more to do with the next great challenge for Klopp after the fantastic work he has already done for Liverpool:

"Crucially, Klopp had concluded, the prospect of a new challenge was within the framework of an environment he’d already fostered: the rebuilding job to come after this current team’s cycle is done. He realises the trick is not to make it seem like a rebuilding job at all, rather a smooth transition from one to the next: where outstanding players are replaced by other outstanding players ready to carry on their good work.

He recognises the conditions at Liverpool are there for him to do what Sir Alex Ferguson did at Manchester United and what Arsene Wenger did at Arsenal, albeit to a lesser extent because he does not see himself still managing Liverpool a decade from now. He believes he can build a second great team — something he has not managed in his previous jobs, and nor has any other German coach working abroad."

Understand that the authors are not saying the first great team is done, but that good planning requires laying the groundwork for Klopp's Liverpool 2.0, piece-by-piece, with that work already beginning. Werner could be an important part of that.

How much fun would it be seeing us line up in a 4-2-3-1 with Timo at 9 and Bobby at 10?

      F***ing Facebook!!  :-\

Cheers Bud! They tried to make it out  that as he was left out because of Management disgruntling in the background, due to his imminent move to us.

As usual, the cu*ts put 2 and 2 together and came up with 5

Nah think they rotated a few players, probably in preparation of the Spurs game.

I'd be stunned if this move doesn't happen in the summer.

Ha the story changes every day doesn’t it. This one is just ridiculous though, if we sign an attacker this summer then we won’t loan him back for a year, not when we will lose Salah and Mane to AFCON and likely sell Origi.

Media change the story about Werner on a daily basis.

Is easy for them to make that up because that is what we did with Naby. But I think that was as much about managing wages, knowing Emre Can was going leave, as anything else.

Agree we won't sign Werner just to loan him back.
