      I'm with you on the Nabby thing. I just think he could be great here.It's a big problem for the Boss.Has Jones chomping  at the bit as well. So much talent in the squad, not easy to keep them all happy.

      We are becoming strong enough to compete on all fronts and give the "smaller" trophies a bit more attention than we have in the past.

      Why can't we have Keita, Jones and Lallana against Shrewsbury you know, it's only a problem if we don't give them enough playing time.

      last 10 EPL games won 10 scored 23 conceded 1 somebody more eloquent than I would have to do justice to this team. I think I am witnessing the greatest team this club has produced, they are just relentless. Proud doesn't even come close

      Amazing how things can change in less than a year.  Six months ago I wanted to win the league. Now I want to set records that will be damn near impossible to break.

      @JamesPearceLFC
      ⭕️#LFC have won 20 successive home league games, equalling the best run in the PL era set by Man City and
      one short of club record record set in 1972
      ⭕️#LFC are undefeated in 42 league games. Only 2 teams have ever gone on a longer run – Arsenal 49 (03-04) & Forest 42 (77-78)

      @JamesPearceLFC
      ⭕️#LFC have won 16 successive league games - their second longest ever sequence in the league.

      ⭕️#LFC have taken 100 points out of a last possible 102 and 173 out of the last 192 on offer.

      @Parish1987
      Liverpool have more points on the 1st Feb then Everton ever have in the whole of a premier league season. #LIVSOU #WATEVE #Premier_League #epl

      Not a player in the world I’d swap any of our front 3 with. I know Mane wasn’t playing but the other 2 really stepped up once again. Mad how some people think different, they are perfect for our team.
      But that’s opinions for you.

      Good to get a nice comfortable scoreline too, been a while since we’ve had a 4-0.

      I think Klopp should have freshened things up a bit for this one, he’s played pretty much the same team for the last few games.

      He really blew it with his team selection.

      I'll be happy to get to half time level. Can't be any worse second half can we?

      Alisson is way too busy.

      IT couldn't be any worse. Probably the worst 45 minutes a team has played.

      I don’t know about a rocket from Jürgen at half time that must have been an Exocet ,incredible second half from the reds and so far removed from what we saw in the first half,
      tough call on motm but going to go for mo.

      Jürgen said there was no shouting, they just talked about football things. Apparently Krawietz noticed a couple of ways for us to get behind them and man, they were right.

      Credit to  Southampton for playing football and going for it.

      Credit to us for being the best team in the world, BAR NONE.

      I went with Bobby as MOTM but can't argue with Mo, Henderson, Gomez. Fabinho looked much more like his old self today. Ox was great before he came off, Robbo was strong.  Alisson was very strong when needed and Naby once again very good coming off the bench. Jürgen and co. got the adjustments right at the break and now we're 22 points ahead.

      So many statistics to show how great we've been but one I just read above, was it 100 points out of possible 102 in the Premier League? That's just astonishing.

      Liverpool could now end the season with W3 D10 and have a better unbeaten record than the Invincibles

      It pisses me off that the old arse players are coming out and saying it was harder back then.
      Not only are their fans pityful but their socalled legends too.

      Wenger only dreamt of a team like this and klopp made it.
      Even if we loose, this team is still better then that arse team.

      I hope the lads enjoy their mini break they have earned every minute of it,

      Post-match quotes from Klopp - https://old.reddit.com/r/LiverpoolFC/comments/ex9rdl/klopp_postmatch_quotes/

      Klopp being told we haven't seen such consistency: “I haven't seen it!”

      Klopp: “The boys will go for a week now and do what they have to do and then be refreshed and ready for Norwich.”

      Klopp: “We just look to use our skills in the best possible way. The boys have done that for a while pretty good and that's why we have these numbers.”

      Klopp: “The attitude and mentality of these boys made it possible for us to win. There were tricky moments, and Southampton it looked like today it could probably happen. The boys put a sensational shift in, everybody went to the point. That makes this group really special.”

      Klopp: “We just don't feel it (100 points from 102). I am long enough in football to know everything can happen. Today Southampton had too many shots but what Ali is doing I have no clue. He was there. It's pretty special. We're not even close to being perfect.”

      Klopp: “It's strange that Southampton could have won it (but we won 4-0).”

      Klopp: “I haven't seen the (Southampton) penalty back and Oxlade-Chamberlain scored a great goal, but I liked the second half even before that. We used Fabinho better, all the midfielders better.”

      Klopp on being told 22 points is a remarkable lead: “Yes, for sure. But they are difficult games. The teams aren't here to have a party, they are here to hurt us. We don't take where we are for granted, not for a second”

      Klopp: “The first half - I want to say wow, what a team Southampton is. I am so long in football and I've never seen a turnaround like that. Their set-up causes you constant problems and defensively very good.”

      Klopp: “We had to change two or three things (at half-time) and most importantly we had to change the involvement of Fabinho. And then we started rolling.”

      Klopp: “We didn't want a 22-point lead. We wanted 73 points at the end of today.”
