There were some fantastic performances and rightly mentioned by a couple of posters that it is hard to give MOTM.  It was a fantastic performance the players that stood out the most for me were Williams, Chiravella, and Jones.   I had a bad stream so missed loads of the game.  But one player that I was worried about the most was sepp and he really upped his game.  Not the best on the pitch but a massive improvement.  He won every header and very big improvement on his last showing.

Listened to it on LFCTV on the drive in to work - must've looked a lunatic fist-pumping peak hour traffic.

Such a satisfying result. It seemed we had a corner every other minute and Neco Williams' name was mentioned in every bit of it. Can't wait to get home and watch it, the atmosphere looked outstanding from the tweets i seen.

Well in Critch and the kids. F***ing amazing.

Cant wait to see the inside Anfield on this one.

Same here. I notice there are no highlight on the official site yet. I wonder if there is some kind of fight between the FA and the club over the rights because they are normally up almost straightaway.

ESPN's web site has  few brief highlights of the match. It includes an English person giving commentary which I don't understand because I thought there was no telecast of this anywhere. Anyone know where THAT is from and what is the contract rule re FA Cup highlights on LFC TV?

Super pumped for the win and the kids. Love moving forward. Also super glad none of the supporters whipped out their hog and twirled it around like the New Castle fan. I mean, WTF???

Notice the BBC website couldn’t resist having a sly dig this morning.
Apparently last nights game was Shrewsbury’s 39th of the season.
I haven’t done the maths but I assume that’s more than we have.

Great that, dead impressed by the way we controlled the game. Shrewsbury could hardly get near us. Very few chances from either sides but we certainly deserved the win as we were by far the better side.

Atmosphere was really good too considering the circumstances, was worried people wouldn't be bothered to make the journey but there wasn't nowhere near as many empties as I expected. You'll Never Walk Alone at full time was boss, whether these lads go on to live up to their potential or not, you won't be able to take last night away from them!

and not to mention that our season finished in june last year with most our players then going off on international duty (Nations League, Copa America, AFCON) then getting 3 weeks off before meeting up with the rest of the team again. This summer will be no different with another potential late finish to the season and players going on international duty (Euros). They might be paid handsomely but they still are human beings at the end of the day. They have families too. Media need to get a grip. A sellout Anfield to see the academy players win a 4th round FA cup fixture, there's the magic of the cup.

The kids were great and I hope many of them make it to the first team or at least do well elsewhere.

Sick of hearing the "lost revenue" drum still being beaten regarding Shrewsbury

Sold their allocation last night - 8,000, on a Tuesday night, away from home. Fair play to them

Last year they played Mansfield at home, in an earlier round of the competition, on a Saturday afternoon - attendance was 3,000 odd (1/4 full)

If they're so worried about the club finances they should bother their arses to turn up more often, buy a pint & a programme at the ground and put some money in the till. Not short of a few quid in Shropshire are they?

Managed to find a stream in what i think was Arabic, I loved that game tonight. Fully deserved win some lovely players in our academy. Critchley deserves a huge amount of credit. We were very organised and played the Liverpool way on the front foot. Cant see Critchley receiving that credit though, the media will still be cry arsing over Klopp and 'respect'. Thankfully those who matter will give him credit, us fans.

think I had same stream, on my phone via twitter. ;D
