Rashford - Martial - Sancho is a great front 3.

Id get rid of Martial myself mate. He's too inconsistent for me. Put the money towards Haaland or Kane.

In that case you play Cavani until Greenwood is ready.
      Great options at United.
Hopefully you do nothing to sort out the defence.

Always maintained defence top top priority before any other player. My opinion never changed. Been telling Ole for over a year now but the fcuker never listens  :lmao:

You definitely need a CB or CDM at the very least.
Sancho seems like an old school "sign a player to stop him going to a rival" signing that Fergie would have made.
Obviously he's a great addition but Varane the more important piece if the rumours are true.

I think this signing is a clear indication that Jürgen doesn't get "anyone he wants". I've heard from many fans "if Jürgen wants him they'll sign him". This shows us that's clearly not true but maybe this discussion is for another thread?

Not sure if Varane just trying to get a bigger pay rise. Have my doubts he wants to come.

Maybe, just maybe it’s because Jürgen didn’t want him at all in the first place and the rumours were, well just rumours or paper talk, the same paper talk that we are constantly being linked with Mbappe, I don’t accept that if Jürgen really really did want him that FSG would say no,  Jürgen only wants those who fit his system, now both you and I would want a Jason Sancho in our team but you and I are not Jürgen Klopp, and maybe just maybe he knows better than you or me.

I never claimed to be Jürgen Klopp. I never claimed to know better than Jürgen Klopp. What I claimed was that Klopp wanted him and FSG didn't buy him.

"The red shirt (of Liverpool) would suit very well," Klopp said in an interview with German newspaper Bild. "I don't think such a transfer will be possible this season"

That's what Jürgen said about him.

If that's not wanting him then I don't know what is mate.

The manager has a free choice of any player he pinpoints when the funds from a previous sale are available.
There is no transaction of any significance to disprove the statement.

So a sell to buy policy? I can see this being true when you take the annual net spend in to account

Will be interesting to see how he goes - can’t see OGS getting the best out of him and it’s certainly not a player that makes UTD become ā€œtitle challengersā€ when they have some areas that needed the Ā£70/80mil before buying another forward ( cb , defensive centre mid )

As for us buying him - the club wouldn’t spend Ā£70 plus million on a player unless he walks into the first 11 or he is replacing a star.

I can see Sancho being disappointing there

I just think it’s amusing (if that’s the right word) that Jadon Sancho of Borussia Dortmund can’t get anywhere near the England team but Jadon Sancho of Man Utd can 😂

I've never stopped saying Ole doesn't get the best out of the players because he simply doesn't know how. A bit like Souhgate.
Should improve us but not certainly not title contenders

Why are we dedicating a thread about a Utd transfer? He's moved on, so what exactly are we doing?

Probably because it's yet to be officially confirmed, if he fails a medical or something else then can always fall through.

Crap pen, but terrible decision on Southgates part to put so much pressure on teens shoulders. Asking Sancho and Rashford to make pens on that stage with their first touch of the game is bonkers. Saka had absolutely no confidence after coming on. Letting that kid take that 5th pen was interesting when you had the likes of Grealish on the pitch.
