If Werner's statement is anything to go by we're relying on the kids next season.

If Klopp's genuinely set on Jadon then it's one of them subliminal "stay another season at Dortmund" messages, while obviously having reassurances about a transfer fund for 21/22

The chavs are certainly splashing the cash, SSN are all over them getting Kai Havertz again this evening and that's before they've even spent on some centre-halves (surely their biggest area of need).

Given how quickly the news has come through on Lovren and Lallana hopefully we might hear of some incoming business in the next week or two. I've got my heart set on Traore, I think he's perfect for us but that ain't happening, deffo not in this climate (got a horrible feeling he goes to City, they need to replace Sane plus he kills them every time he plays them). I  do like Sarr at Watford, would obviously cost half the price and I suspect he'd come in as a young and humble player willing to spend some time on the bench and wait for his opportunities, he certainly has the skills to spell either of Salah or Mane.

I see Max ARrans is being linked with a few clubs already, he's another youngster I like and would make for decent cover at FB. Plus I guess we need another CB, how about Vertongen? JUst left Spurs today, I've always liked him. Not a bad little option as 3rd/4th CB although he maybe looking for nailed on starting spot.

I'm wondering who else might be on the way out? Harry Wilson doesn't have all that long to run on his contract (a year?) so you'd think they'll try to sell rather than loan this time around. Shakiri may well be off (not that we'd notice given his time on the treatment table). Does Brewster come back in and get a proper look do we think? If the swans come up it probably makes sense to give him another year there to develop rather than be a bit part player at LFC I think.

Dortmund asking £110m according to the Torygraph, I'm confident this will not be happening for us.

You've had £89m rejected according to the quoting Fail, but if Peter Ridsdale is back at Leeds, it could happen there.

In this day and age, and current climate, that is ridiculous money to spend. Off topic, but you need to service your debt, with no fans at OT, you may be in trouble.

Absolutely no chance of going there mate. Surprised you even had them as a possibity.

I agree far too much, hopefully 90 at the most and that's still too much.  :f_doh:

I don't get why Sancho would want to go to Utd and don't get why they are going for him if Mason Greenwood is all that!!

If I was a Utd fan I'd be going apeshit they're not buying a defender or at best a defensive midfielder.

Sancho & Greenwood two types of players in different positions. Long term Greenwood will be CF whereas Sancho very versatile can play RW - LF and even attacking midfielder for back up if needed.

However, from a personal note I too have said /agree priority has to be a CB. We're very weak in that department.

If ye spent £70 million on Koulibaly that would ultimately pay off more than signing Sancho as it would give ye a top class CB and fix a problematic area.

Signing Sancho would only add extra quality to an area that doesn't really need additions.

How many attackers do they need though, they already have Martial, Rashford and Greenwood, plus Dan James on the wing.
